The biker nor truck driver did neither so that tells you they both knew they were out of the way of danger. There was more room that you believe. Remember go pro sports camera's alway make it look a lot closer and risky than it actually is.

It’s on everyone to ride their own ride. Don’t ride outside your skills. If you can’t keep from being “pressured” into trying to keep up with more experienced riders, you’re not mature enough to be on a bike.

Most of the group rides I go on we have a destination. Everyone gets there when they get there. There are still people who crash trying to keep up, but there’s nothing you can do about that short of riding at their level or telling them not to come and we’re not going to do either. Unless it’s a ride specifically for less experienced riders, they need to control themselves when it’s all said and done.
