I live in Roosevelt, Utah, really close to the ranch. We're all familiar with the stories. You left one important part out, which is this: legend has it that the reason the ranch is so weird is that it was cursed by the Navajo who were forced to leave it. The native population here take this very seriously. White kids (usually teenagers) love to drive up to the ranch and see what they can, but the native kids never go anywhere near it.

I live in Moab Utah and my dad is so fascinated with UFO’s, the paranormal, and of course Skin Walker ranch.. he really wants to visit Skinwalker Ranch and maybe camp close by for a night or two. Is it worth the trip and how do the locals feel about people visiting? We’re not going to try and camp on the property or bother anyone, just drive by it a few times take some pictures and then find a nearby camping spot for a few days.
Edit: what else is there to do in the area? Is dinosaur national monument close? Thank you

We know what we saw. 4 bulls was put into a locked cabin trailer that could only fit 1 but somehow all 4 was in there and when they checked the lock it was untouched. The lock and the cob webs but the bulls somehow got in there and they are all calm too. As soon as the researchers open the door the bulls snap out of it and go crazy. The ending of this video was exactly what I was hoping he'd say.
It's amazing how many people don't know how real estate works. And the fact that this ranch was purchased by a real estate investor, and the claims by the family of UFO sightings didn't happen until AFTER the sale (except the cattle disappearing, and after the sale, the story added they were missing blood), it isn't hard to realize what's going on here.
The cheapest way to make money on real estate is by appreciation. And the best form of appreciation is FORCED appreciation. You can force appreciation by improving the lot, or if you're creative enough, by making it seem like it's haunted, visited by UFOs, cursed by natives, the home of big foot, a werewolf breeding ground, or.... If you're REALLY good, that it's ALL OF THE ABOVE.

Not to mention ancient religions dating back thousands of years depicting gods coming down in crafts and having detailed and accurate representations of planets and where they’re located. Almost as if these gods gave them knowledge of our solar system before we even had technology capable of viewing our solar system. All I know is, if they’re here than they’ve been coming here for thousands of years. I have reason to believe that ancient civilizations would be more accepting of a strange phenomena such as aliens than our present day society. They also obviously didn’t have cameras or video back than.

The slaughter of cattle, for example, the cattle would certainly photograph so whatever happened to one would be recorded. And that wasn't either.
People go to this place because they already expect to see this sort of thing. And as you should know, eye witness evidence is considered the least reliable. So until there's hard evidence I remain extremely skeptical, and the volume OF these "sightings" that render NO real evidence pushes me further into skepticism.

The US military actually did that. Paul Bennewitz, a UFO investigator, saw lights in the sky above an Air Force base. He warned the Air Force that they could be in danger. They realized what he actually saw was secret spy and stealth plane tests. So, when Bennewitz said he thought it was aliens, they realized they had a great cover story. Special agent Richard Doty started feeding Bennewitz fake "classified" info about aliens and Area 51 and stuff like that. Bennewitz gave all that info to various UFO groups and publications, and it gradually made its way out into the world. People scoffed at his outlandish theories (even other UFO researchers thought he was delusional) and didn't believe anything he said. But sprinkled throughout was actually tidbits of true info on the secret tests. Which means people didn't believe any of that either, just ignoring the places the tests took place. There's a good chance this is why there's so many stories about Area 51. It's just a basic Air Force test base. Hell, there's a good chance nothing actually happens there anymore. But tales from Bennewitz and others like him got it attention, and the Air Force plays up the secrecy around the base to keep that attention. Meanwhile, the actual secret stuff (which, to be clear, is spy planes and shit, not aliens) happens somewhere else, where no one is looking.

When I lived out in the boondocks of Sonoma Co., CA, a whole slew of UFOs were in the sky behind my house every night. Not always in the same position. I used to go out on my deck and wave to them. When I moved up to Reno, my friend Fred (who had seen them as well) said to me, while I was unpacking, "A couple of your friends are outside." I went outdoors and there were two of those UFOs, hovering above. I waved and smiled, went inside again. I miss them. And yes, this is a true story.

I have documented some of those things online. For instance, back around 2014 or so, I think I witnessed a UFO blink in and out of existence in the skies above Newport News, VA. The funny thing is that two military craft showed up around the same time. The UFO briefly appeared as a red and green (mostly green) circular (possibly spherical) shape. Then, it disappeared as quickly as it appeared. It wasn't my eyes reacting to the sun as it was in a different part of the sky at the time. So, I honestly don't know what I saw. That's just one of numerous examples.

I once saw a car parked outside my building that changed colors from different angles. I told my friend this and he didn't believe me and thought I was mistaken or saw the sun hit it at different angles revealing more details of color unable to be seen at different vantage points. I told him no there is a kind a paint (I did not know at the time was called "chameleon") that one could get that changed colors from different angles but it is kind of rare. I had no photographic proof at the time or video. And when I had my cell phone with me I would never see that car again for several weeks. My friend thought I was kind of flaky almost as if I claimed to see Big Foot or Aliens etc. It was frustrating not being believed! And showing him a video on CZcams wouldn't work because it can be faked! Finally after a little over a month that same care was parked outside again and this time I was ready! I took photos and videos of it from multiple angles and you can see it change colors as my smart phone panned from left to right and up and down over the car. It was no trick of the light or sunlight at different angles revealing more detail! I showed him the video in person and he saw I retrieved the video from my camera album not from the Photo Editor album (which would have been suspicious that it was photo or video shopped). And he even saw it in person erasing any possible doubt he may have had LMAO! So point is I get how frustrating seeing something some find hard to believe is possible because had this incident took place in the 80s or 90s I may not have been able to capture evidence of this since I did not walk around everywhere with a video camera back then like I do now. So in a way I think this is kind of a similar situation but on a grander scale. Thanks for reading ;--)

Anything can be faked, nothing can be 100% proven. Everything we know about the world around us is just sensory input being processed in our brains, and if we assume not all of our brains function the same since we are not all using the same brain and experiencing and sensing the same things, then we cannot rely on our own brain and senses to figure out any actual reality as it would differ from person to person but our brains could easily omit certain details to fit with our perception. These details may be tiny details we don't all agree on, but if wave function collapse is determined by who is perceiving it, and there are people who are both observing and not observing, then the ramifications could be far more than just an inconsequential difference in what the objective reality truly is. Nothing can be 100% proven. Therefore anything could be faked.

I think the bigger takeaway from this is that for more than 50 of the 70 years that reports have been coming in about the ranch, cameras and especially video, were no where near as common to have in hand at a moments notice, nor were they as likely to be used on an unknown, given the cost of both film and development of film. To narrow it even further, most cameras in use once they started to be more common, but not yet digital, could not take a good picture of something moving, anything at night, nothing in the night sky.
Even in the last 20 years it has only been the last 5-10 years where taking photos at night was actually viable.

This is only my own theory, based on my own experience, but I believe that the popularity of a place does drive away certain phenomena. The family who lived there first seem to have experienced most of it, and the phenomena then gradually faded when more people came about and more time was spent there. When I first moved into my cabin in the woods I experienced some unexplained things, strange sounds and lights and one of them being birds not found in books like in this case, but these occurances became rarer the more time I have spent at the place. And these strange things seem to be able to dodge my trail-cam also, so who knows. Very peculiar in any case.

Late September, 1995, Little Traverse Bay, Lake Michigan. I witnessed hundreds of craft, tic-tac shaped, white-purple, pulsating light, with a low hum. Some were the size of a mansion, a small red one was acting as a concierge, going off East down the lake, then guiding three larger craft back. They all went at speeds and made maneuvers that defied physics. The red craft would shoot straight up into a triangle made up of three other craft, but there were hundreds moving in a geometric pattern beyond that. The sky would continuously get cloudy and clear up instantly when the the red ship had others to guide back. I was sober, with another witness, and this elderly couple came out of their house and watched as well. There was also two other people watching 500 feet from us. This went on for two to three hours. I will never forget watching the red one come towards us, shoot over our heads like a silent Blue Angel, shoot back, then this massive ship. That was terrifying. Bordering pre-internet days. I told less than a dozen people prior to the Governor finally saying something. Now I don’t care, and will communicate about it.
