Oak Grove’s Senior Pastor Dr. Beth LaRocca-Pitts giving a report on important changes from the 2024 General Conference of the United Methodist Church, which was held two weeks ago in Charlotte North Carolina.
The General Conference is the prime decision making body of the United Methodist Church and the only entity able to speak on behalf of The United Methodist Church.
Delegates from around the world are elected from their local annual conference (equal parts laity and clergy) every four years to help determine the future of the United Methodist Church around the world.
