For me Stray Kids are the best in the business …Unique, self produced and write their own music which can cover pretty much any genre of music. All the members are multitalented with singing, rapping and dance. And please don’t get me started about Stray Kids performing live (I have been lucky enough to see live)…Just WOW 🤯. So if you choose to go down the Stray kids rabbit hole, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. Thank you for reacting and hopefully with more reactions to SKZ to come.🫶🏻

My interpretation of sclass: “a chaotic brain with so many weird stuffs inside surprisingly can be COOL” aka what people think as weird, chaotic and uncohesive can also means that they are “special” cos not many can do it like them.
Just like the lyric says: “feeling extra, Everyday!” It sums up the whole video: EXTRA

Haha. Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids. They should have eased you into Stray Kids, S-Class is really something else from changes in beats to the amazing visuals (Stray Kids are known for some of the best produced MVs in the industry). Stray Kids is an incredibly talented self-produced group. Since they are self-produced they like to experiment, and they are amazing in changing beats while keeping continuity in the song. I recommend you listen to S-Class a couple more times before you decide whether you like it or not. But, if you like rap I guarantee you will love Stray kids, they have one, if not the best, 4th generation rap line in Kpop. I hope you’ll give them another chance. I recommend Megaverse and Topline next.

Stray Kids are a completely self produced group. At this point they have done over 50+ genres of music. So they have everything you could possibly want. I personally love their noise and EDM tracks but their ballads are amazing too. All of them can rap, sing and dance. They have Korean songs, Japanese songs and English songs and a lot of solo songs and covers.
S Class is a bold choice it has the most beat and flow changes. I personally didn't like it at first but after the 3rd listen I was hooked. Stray Kids flavour is so unique; they go from making the most headbanging rave style music to the most heart wrenching ballad songs lol super talented and completely on a level of their own.
Some of my personal favs that I recommend reacting to is Easy, Top Line, 3racha (by 3racha the members that produce the music) Domino, Cover Me, Never ending story, Miroh and side effects (EDMMMMM BABY) They have over a million songs at this point LOL

starting with S-Class is crazy 😂
but thanks for the reaction regardless! I’d recommend Gods Menu or Thunderous next (they’re the usual songs people start with to ease in lol)
I’d also recommend their live performance at the Golden Disc Awards! 👏🏼

Stray Kids have been breaking Kpop records and breaking Kpop barriers since they debut. More recently they became the first Kpop group to attend the Met Gala and headline a major music festival Lollapalooza in France and Chicago in August.
Their music always as multiple beat switches and it has become signature sound.

    "The Thunderous ones are here!"
Hey! Thank you for your amazing reaction friend!
Stray Kids is an 8 members group gather by the lider of the group Bang Chan (this is the only k-pop group formed this way. Usually the label company decides who gets to be the members of a group).
Stray Kids are self-produced. They create 99% of they're music and are also very involved in the choreography creation.
The group has debuted in 25/03/18 and the members are:
Bang Chan (26Yo The Lider) , Changbin (24) and Han (23). They are also known as the producers and songwriters - 3Racha subunit.
Lee Know (25), Hyunjin (23) and Felix (23) also known by the name of- Dance Racha subunit . All of them have solo songs composed by themselves.
Seungmin (23) and I.N (23)as the Vocal Racha subunit. They have released solo cover songs.
They all are skilled in dancing, they all can rapp or sing and lately all of them are getting intrested in songwriting and producing.
Lose my breath is they last release as a group (because from the beginning of 2024, we really receive a number of solos that are making us really happy) in collaboration with Charlie Puth. This song is really different as they're usual sound, but I'm really happy they've done it cuz is very good and very catchy!
    Now!
Lalalala is the title track of their last came back. This is the one you should check next. Is INSANE from whatever point of view you wanna watch it!!!
If you enjoyed it you should also check out some other really good music that they have such as Why, Megaverse, S Class, Topline, Maniac, Venom, Frezze, God's Menu, Domino, All In, Social Path, Charmer , Get Lit, ITEM, Cheese, Super Bowl (eng version), Super board, Side Effects, Hello Stranger, Peacemaker, Rock, Boxer.... Etc.
If you want to hear something less hard striking songs you should go on Fam, TMI, FNF, The Sound, Christmas Evel, Blind Spot, Get cool, Awkward silence, My Pace... Etc
If you enjoy more soft ones you can check out Chill, Blue Print, The View, Time out, There, Your Eyes, B Me, Gone Days, I am you Story that won't end.....etc
Songs that can crush your heart are the ones of Han and also Lonely St, Leave, Cover me, Winter Falls, Secret Secret, Levanter, Scars, Youtiful, Gone Away, I hate to admit .... Etc
And if you want the hot ones i strongly recommend Red Lights, Drive, Taste (Dance performance), Connected, Woaw
Mostly rap- 3Racha, Heyday, Muddy Waters (performance) Runner's High, I got it( Han), Mirror Mirror (Milli, F Hero ft Changbin), Grrr Be Awear, Zone.. Etc
I also recommend they're pre-debute song Hellevator and they're debut song District 9!!!
Believe me my friend... The list could continue forever cuz they're discography is no skipping song at all.
Every song that you will listen will blow your mind for sound, lyrics, visuals, choreography, words play.... And also have excellent acting skills!
They are amazing and i guarantee for an excellent experience 100%
The fandom name is Stay. Also consider turning on the caption.
I have subscribed and cannot wait to see which one you choose!! 💥

    About Stray Kids:
Leader Bang Chan was an idol trainee at JYP for several years. While waiting to debut with a group, he formed a rap group called 3Racha with two other trainees, Changbin and Han. They wrote and produced their own music. JYP gave Bang Chan the highly unusual opportunity to help develop his own idol group (which they did through a reality show, but Bang Chan had WAYYYY more say in picking the members than pretty much any other idol trainee in the industry), and when Stray Kids was formed 3Racha was absorbed into that group.
3Racha still performs on occasion. Several of their songs / videos are posted on CZcams. They write / produce (and often compose/arrange) the vast majority of the music for Stray Kids. Over the years the other members have also gotten involved in writing and production.
    ----------------------------------
Stray Kids debuted in 2018. They started with 9 (in their early videos, you'll see 9 people performing) but Woojin left in Oct 2019. Stray Kids have been an 8-member group ever since.
    ----------------------------------
DanceRacha - main dance unit (Hyunjin, Felix (the deep-voiced guy), and Lee Know). But all 8 members dance very well.
    ----------------------------------
VocalRacha - main vocal unit (Seungmin and I.N). But again, all 8 members have great singing voices and they switch around on lead vocals, depending on the song.
    ----------------------------------
Main rappers - Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix - but unlike many K-pop groups, all 8 members can and have rapped, depending on the song.
    ----------------------------------
    Languages:
Bang Chan (the leader of the group) and Felix (deep-voiced guy) are both Korean-Australian, so English is their first language. The other 6 members speak English with varying degrees of fluency.
All 8 members are fluent in Korean and can also sing / rap in Japanese. They often mix Korean/English and Japanese/English in their songs.
    ----------------------------------
Not all of their music is super hard all the time.
Stray Kids also write / sing beautiful ballads and have also written a few songs for K-drama, anime and video game soundtracks. They also collab with / produce for other idol groups and solo artists from Korea, Japan, China, Thailand and the U.S.
    ----------------------------------
    The fandom is called STAY.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just to recap the members (oldest to youngest):
Bang Chan - leader of Stray Kids, leader of 3Racha (Stray Kids' writing and production unit), main songwriter, main producer, composer, arranger, vocalist, dancer, rapper on some songs
Lee Know - main dancer, choreographer for some of their songs, vocalist, rapper on some songs, songwriter
Changbin - member of 3Racha, main rapper, main songwriter, main producer, composer, vocalist, dancer
Hyunjin - main dancer, main rapper, songwriter, producer, vocalist (also an artist & some of his paintings have been used as art for their songs)
Han - member of 3Racha, main rapper, main songwriter, main producer, composer, vocalist, dancer
Felix - main rapper, main dancer, songwriter, large vocal range when singing - deep bass, baritone and high falsetto
Seungmin - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs
I.N - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs

    @toribirdz Před měsícem +11

I’m a hardcore Stray Kids fan but the first few times I listened to S-Class it was too much to process lol I absolutely love it now! But it is chaotic especially with the music video.
I agree with others about checking out God’s Menu. It is a staple song even if you end up not liking it lol
Back Door, Miroh, Social Path, and I Am You are great title tracks that I feel are easier to digest for non kpop fans.
Their other super popular title tracks are Maniac, Thunderous, Lalalala, and Case 143 (and Back Door and Gods Menu). They might be hit or miss, but it’s what SKZ is most known for among general kpop fans.
And for their rap-heavy stuff I recommend Topline (has music video), Heyday, Zone, and Muddy Water. Most of these songs don’t include all the members. Oh and they also collabed with Lil Dirk in an All My Life remix that I loved.
Anyway, whether you keep checking them out or not, thanks for checking them out! And for being respectful even if S-Class wasn’t for you! :)

@@isaacvazquezReactsyeah, same happened to me when i discovered kpop and SKZ, i was like "naaah, i don't get it, it'a not for me". I know ALL their songs now, i listen to them 24/7, I'm learning Korean now.
And yes, this is a very complicated song, the one with the most styles mixed together. SKZ are known for switching the beats, but it's usually 2 or 3 styles, not 10 😅 I promise you that you'll love it once you get used to it. My mom is 70 and this is one of her fav songs from the boys 😂
Deffo God's Menu, Thunderous, Maniac, Muddy Water, Red Lights, Taste.
They have many many styles and they do them very well. Their ballads make you cry or fill up your soul, the upbeats make you dance, their silly songs make you laugh. They got everything for everyone, like they say in God's Menu

In m/v SKZ you can see so many references to phenomena, events, people, their songs, anime, movies and more. They have their own concept - mega universes. It can be a bit difficult for a newcomer to make sense of it all. But if you get curious - the amazing world of SKZ will open up. STAY (SKZ fanclub) call it a rabbit hole. Sorry if it's not clear - I'm writing through google translator.

    @prmtv Před měsícem +15

    They debuted in 2018
    They are ages 23 - 26
    Fandom name is Stay
    #2 Best Selling Artist in U.S 2023
    #3 Globally Best Selling 2023
They are unique for several reasons...
First, the leader Bang Chan was allowed by JYP to hand pick all of the members himself. They were not placed together in a traditional way, by the company.
Second all of them are all arounders. They can all sing, rap, dance, produce and write.
Third, they have written and produced about 99% of their music.
Numbers of songs each member has copyrighted according to Korean Music Association (KOMCA) so far...
Bang Chan 182 (#3 in KPop)
    Changbin 154 (#11)
    Han 148 (#12)
    Hyunjin 27
    Felix 22
    I.N 21
    Seungmin 20
    Lee Know 17
While they can all do everything they do have 3 different subunits...
3Racha... Bang Chan, Chang Bin and Han which are the main producers. They are always credited as 3Racha.
    3Racha Achievements
    - Four Time Billboard 200 #1 Producers
    - Hot 100 Hitmakers
    - 3rd, 11th, 12th Most Credited Idols on KOMCA
    - Produced Albums Sold Over 20 Million Copies
    - Japan Hot 100 Hitmakers
    - 100+ Weeks on Hot 100 Lyricists
    - 100+ Weeks On Hot 100 Composers
    - 2023 Asia Artist Awards Best Creator
    - Makers of Time Magazines 2020 #8 Best Song (their song Backdoor)
Danceracha... Lee Know (in charge of leading dance practices), Felix and Hyunjin. They also contribute to the choreography.
    Vocalracha... Seungmin and I.N
While the songs are hype they always have significant meaning to them. Their lyricism is always insane.
Since they are so experimental their sound has its own genre and they have a very diverse discography.
Example... Gods Menu, Back Door and Case 143 all completely different sounds.
I recommend Gods Menu since its their most popular one.
SClass is one of those for a lot of people that the more you listen to it, the more you like it.

Lol,they started you off with a chaotic one of theirs!!😂 usually they tend to have several switches in a single song, but that's partially because there are rappers, and vocalists in the group....so they like to have parts that showcase and represent each member imo...but also because they have a wide variety of influences and genres they like and can use as inspiration for creating music that best expresses their unique style.this has become a somewhat signature of Stray Kids...they self write, produce, and even help in the other aspects like dance(which they have a dance subunit) and choreography.so ya,they can be a bit chaotic at times, but honestly they are TOP of their industry at the.moment and have steadily been climbing the ladder and charts in popularity and creativity.you would enjoy some live performances better imo...I recommend victory song from MAMA2020 performance... The 300 theme one...or even the music videos of Thunderous,Backdoor,or Charmer....any of the rap line (3RACHA) songs like Heyday,3Racha,or even Muddy Water might be more up your alley.lol anyhow, thanks for giving our boys a shot,to be fair though, you should give them a best out of 3 songs try before totally throwing in the towel because they are actually FIRE!!!🔥but this track maybe a bit too much to start off with.Good luck and I sincerely hope you try at least one rap line song...and one other track....Thunderous has an anime theme MV.😃well worth a watch if nothing else.🎶❤✌

S CLASS is about them. Their long journey to get to where they are today........serpent road, a long path with many twists and turns, a journey.
These boys are musical geniuses and yes, this song was 'mashed' together with so many different beats (genres). However it was done in such a way it is very cohesive. Genius.
Would i recommend S-Class as a first time listener? Absolutely not, it's a song for a well seasoned fan. Would i suggest Gods Menu? No.
Their title tracks are sometimes not their best tracks in my honest opinion. Their hidden BSide tracks are where the Gems are.
You like TRAP? Check out EASY.
You like EDM? Check out MIROH.
You like Hip Hop? Try MUDDY WATER.
You like ballads with impact? Try COVER ME.
Honestly, they have over 200 songs in 6 years and not a single miss. New release is due 19th July.
Subbed to watch your rabbit hole journey with our boys.

I saw in your replies that you have already checked out God's Menu and will be uploading that reaction soon. The concept from God's Menu of having something for everyone is so true for Stray Kids. If you like rap, they have a lot of great rap heavy songs like Victory Song, Double Knot, Easy, Maze of Memories, Muddy Water, ITEM, and Topline (feat Tiger JK). If you like melodic songs, they have Cover Me, FNF, DLMLU, and Levanter. If you like EDM/Dubstep, they have songs like Freeze, and Miroh. If you like R&B melodies, they have songs like Taste, Wow, Sorry I love you, Drive, Red Lights, and Leave. If you like music on the rock side, they have YAYAYA, GRR Beware, Battleground, and LALALALA (rock ver.).
Stray Kids are known for mixing genres to their liking. They make music their playground. Not every song may fit with your taste, but I bet you will find more songs that you enjoy than songs that you don't. I hope you continue to discover Stray Kids' music. They're insanely talented.

Don't worry for voicing your honest opinion! Kpop fans are usually known for being pushy and not liking when someone doesn't like their favourite group, but usually fans of Stray Kids understand that their music might be too much for some people, so I hope no one comes and say nasty things. I don't know if they recommended this song or if you just picked a random one, but as many have said, it's understandable that the music+video is a lot for newcomers. This is SKZ speacialty, weird sounds, weird transitions, experimental noises and music changes, sometimes is over 9,000 sometimes it's more tame.
If you still want to give them a chance, after God's Menu, and if you like rap, I wouldn't go for their most popular ones, I would go for the rap heavy ones with interesting sounds like Muddy Waters, Domino English Ver, Easy, 3racha, Maze of Memories (2021 version, thsi one has sound changes but they go really well with the rap), ITEM, or Victory Song.
And even if it's still not your taste, don't worry, you don't have to like them, I'm happy you gave them a chance and get to know a little about their music

Luckily every Stray Kids fan has been positive and understanding that I’m new to the entire genre. But I have heard some K-pop fans get wild if they don’t like the reviews. But at the end of the day I will give an honest opinion and if I find a song I really like/ love just know that I really mean it!

Hahaha yes their title tracks are often like jigsaw puzzles and the first few listens can be over-stimulating. It took a few watches to catch everything. I say this all the time that watching their MV’s permanently altered my brain chemistry and now I only think of Stray Kids. Whether that’s a warning or an invitation I’m not sure. 🤣🫣

Dude, I definitely agree with you. I actually didn't like S-Class at all at first. I couldn't even listen to it at all. I didn't know why everyone was so hyped up about it. With newer fans the problem is S-Class should never be a first song of theirs to listen to. Not unless you really know more about them and how they are used to sounding. As for me and other fans that have either been here since they debuted or even after that at some point and are very familiar with their music, we know that the specific songs we don't like might actually change to us liking them in the future. I am not kidding either. This is something that's popular with their music. I still have songs that I could probably never get into which is also okay, (like I could just never get into venom that beat is just too weird for me xD) but you'll also have the songs that might grow on you eventually as well, like for me with S-Class. Stray Kids are known for producing their own songs, composing, writing lyrics, they can do it all and they have too much freedom that is just completely rare or even unheard of in kpop. They also usually have double, triple or sometimes even more meanings behind everything that they do or write. So even the titles can sometimes have double or more meanings as well. They even do all different kinds of genres for their audience so trust me they don't normally sound like how they do with S-Class. I definitely get it though. S-Class is just that one song. xD They are a pretty rap heavy group though, but still do have some ballads throughout their discography. If you want more rap and with the whole group well Idk what to suggest because they rap in just about everything. xD but probably some of the best are gonna be God's Menu, Thunderous, Megaverse, Lalala, Double Knot, Topline etc. these are just some of my most favorites. I do really like Maniac and Back Door but these are not as rap heavy as the other ones are, they're more of a bit melodic or groovy feeling to them, while still having some rap in there. Hellevator is pretty rap heavy as well but it's also kind of more of a dubstep type of feel to it, it's still fantastic and if you listen to this one I suggest really reading through the lyrics because they're deep af.

I can tell people really like this group because everyone comments with back ground and other song suggestions! I had heard that if a reactor gives a song a bad or less than good review that they get destroyed by the followers. Luckily I have gotten nothing but positive vibes from all their fans!

This is not the song to start with for Stray Kids. This is definitely classified as Kpop. Easy, District 9, and Venom are a few songs that may be more your speed as far as I can tell. They play with lots of genres and are insanely talented. Hope this helps... Good luck!

Are you new to this? Those switch ups are basic Kpop formula. SKDS are just notorious for being really cheeky with it. But this is by a long shot not one of my fave songs by them. I personally like Back Door, Case 143 or Circus, that kinda vibe. But I think their rap goes crazy in some of their older stuff like District 9.

@@isaacvazquezReacts Ahhh…ok so this is not a “genre” but an industry. The genre(‘s) can be anything (I mean aaAAAAANYthing! Even Korean Trot, which is a very old Korean War era genre) but only when it exists within a certain formula. Kpop is made of “Always includes” and “often/might but doesn’t have to”’s.
      The “Always includes” ones are
      Styling concept
      Choreography
      Leader
      Main vocal
      Main dancer
      Rappers
      Former trainees.
On that one I’d like to say not always but even though being a trainee is not a requirement to participate on survival shows, I’ve never seen anyone no matter how skilled debut without at least SOME training/orientation period (even a month or two).
      The “usually/often includes” ones are
      Storyline arc/lore
      Lead vocal
      Lead dancer.
The “Sometimes/might also include ones are
      Composer/Producers (among group members)
      Sub leader
      Sub vocals
      Sub rappers
      Visual
      Martial Arts/Stunts/Acrobatics leader
      Choreographer
One song/2 music videos (sometimes an additional “Performance” version so fans can see the full choreography/what they’ll actually see on stage).
And unless a group is self produced (like Stray Kids), the funny thing is even many Kpop producers (who come from all over the world) don’t actually know what Kpop is. They just receive requests to submit songs or part of one (a beat, a topline etc.), but when they see for the first time a song THEY produced actually being performed they also are dumbstruck speechless. Most labels have “in-house”producers that that work with those submissions to make it “Kpop” (like you said…AAAAAALL over the place! There are hundreds of groups in the industry, more people and more talent than there are parts to fit them in 😅).
But there is one thing no label seems to take exception on, not even SM (SM artists not allowed to produce their own title tracks)…and that’s that the rap parts are always left blank. These need to be filled in by the artists themselves.
In any case you’re pretty observant and most likely will quickly learn on your own anything I’ve missed or overlooked if you choose to continue reacting to them, but I hope that’s helpful.
