Cool vid bro, I have a question (u don't have to answer though if u don't wanna) have u had a job b4, and if u have, how did u deal with dysphoria/being misgendered at work? I'm asking bcus ive not had a job yet and it worries me thinking about it, cus i aint on T yet and probably wont be for ages cus the waiting lists suck
So most of the time that I’ve had jobs in the past, was before I started T, so every job I’ve applied to I’ve just made it very clear that I’m a male and go by male pronouns and everyone’s always been really accepting and cool with it, they’re not allowed to discriminate against you for your gender identity, so when you get a job as long as you make it clear, it should all be fine. I’ve always had my chosen name and pronouns on their systems. And if you can change your legal documents it makes things a lot easier, which you can do before you’re actually diagnosed. In the UK you can’t get it online so you haven’t to go to a doctors either way really, wether you go private and pay or go through the NHS. I’ve done mine through the NHS, hope this helps :)
