One thing that continually enchants me about Tonga is how virginal it is to tourism and trade.
People say that Tonga's simplicity and obscurity - compared to her sister-countries like Fiji and Sāmoa - are bad qualities.
I think they're actually positive things, because they help to preserve the genuine island lifestyle and experience, unlike holiday destinations like Hawaii (no offence) that have become cliché due to mass-advertisement and hyper-commercialisation.
