I gained a lot of confidence in my ability as a pilot as it is busy area with numerous airports and a real mix of aircraft. We currently live in the Portland area and still have a second home in the Bay Area. Very much enjoy your channel!

I'm very nearly under one of O'Hare's flight paths for landings. The eeriest time ever was during the 9/11 ground stop. No air traffic for several days---and the unusual quiet was, well....disquieting. Jet noise is just another type of urban white noise to me, along with sirens, car horns, bus and elevated trains.
I know its a little late, but I just wanted to say thank you. I'm not a pilot (and can't qualify for a third class medical right now) but I did find a couple of jobs in my career field that I applied for. It truly does take all skills to keep planes in the air. Thank you for the glimpse into working for Southwest, and the encouragement to apply!

I learned to fly in SJ and currently teach there. The airspace is crazy but it's a great place to learn to fly and it gives you confidence to fly anywhere else.
As a Yelp elite reviewer I have found that southwest is one of the best with flights and the welcome to the flights I have flown south west to many areas. To know a great airline is the family welcome and the safety they have they don't serve alcohol. Southwest has been one of the best and have referred to the airline with San Diego is going to be having a brand new remodeled airport in 2025.
Though I never met Jordan personally, she and I are 6 degrees apart meaning that we have mutual friends and some of which I was close to a while back. What a small world this industry is! Great inspirational vlog!!!

✌👍 My home is 5 nm NE of rw22R 22L KJFK and to me it's not noise, I love when the air density layers are just right and I can be lolled off to sleep by all the sounds of the airport, The air starts are music to my ears of those big engines.

They've added a whole new wing on the westside of the Portland airport. It's an airport like none other.
