Unbelievable what the Italians at Aprilia can do with a twin. This thing is a gem comparing to a mt07, not to mention the sound. I can't believe they were able to get that out of a twin cylinder engine. Bravo Aprilia!

Beautiful set up. I’ve been hearing the SC is the system to go with. You’ll always get a smoother and more midrange power delivery with full length.

I know right? Stock looks best and I wish there’s manufacturers that make something retaining the same look. Same reason why I love the akrapovic system on the panigale v2!

You're going to wait a long time. The bikes coming in are already sold. You'll need to place a deposit on the Aprilia website to guarantee you'll get one.
Looks and sounds perfect on there without baffle. I know that wasn't a cheap exhaust!
I've had mine for about two weeks. Love it! That sound is incredible but one of the attractions of the RS 660 is the fairings and looks. This particular exhaust takes away from the looks on that side. How much was the exhaust?
I still like underbelly exhaust vs a huge muffler on the side of the bike

Me too, I think acropavic should come out with one that's an under belly exhaust, I know they made one for the cbr650r, that's why I think I'll wait a bit before buying an exhaust for mine. I do love the sound of the sc project though

I have only ridden it conservatively so far. But not any that I noticed. The neighbors are probably like “another one???”

Guys did you alternatively considered the akrapović exhaust? Not sure which one to choose but sc on movies sounds better.

I think I like how the stock exhaust looks better. If I had this bike I think I would try to modify the stock exhaust to make it a little louder.

Hey man, just wondering if You could measure with caliper the exact diameter between the link pipe and the muffler? It looks much bigger than on Akra.
How do you know the other half of the exhaust is titanium? Or vice Versa
It sucks that i cant drive the sc project system in germany … so i have to buy the system by akrapovic (with db killer etc.)
You can remove the oem and put on a tomato sauce can, police will never give a shit in Spain. Most of the bikes in my down are either de-cat or track only exhausts. But you are right, for the time being there are very few road legal options.

I’m too old for loud exhausts and find them annoying but it sounds good with the baffle in and looks really good. Not as good as stock though - the looks. Btw I love the colour.

Looks great with a proper exhaust. Some love the stock look but I think it’s hideous personally.

On the exhaust side yeah, looks like it mounts directly into there. Kind of a bummer imo, thing sounds great but looks too motocross and takes emergency passenger situations out of the picture for a daily rider. I guess it's good for weekend riders.
What are your plans for tuning?
Current plans was Gabro racing was going to have a fuel map available soon as a temporary solution. My local dealer is trying to crack and do a full flash for long term. But nothing right now is really available. Will probably through a Rapidbike system on it when they are available to keep it running smooth

Sounds great! Did you have to load a specific map for the ecu? My dealer told me my Tuono 660 can only take an akra ($6,700.00 Australian dollars LOL). Any other system will cause havoc with AFR, damage engine or cause limp mode. Wtf…are aprilia’s really that sensitive/fragile?
How does New exhaust run without a tune or power commander
I actually have The Aprilia Race ECU installed for tuning solution. She does run but lean with out tuning.

Luke Spano for me the low/mid range feels much more responsive. The bike runs but cooler now , definitely no longer running lean. Not that it matters to some, but the ECU also allowed me to activate the turn signals in the head lights like Euro bikes.
Velocity stacks and filter going in this weekend and we will run on the Dyno.

@@Theodric_Blackthorne hab nochmal geschaut bin mir auch nicht sicher ob der Akra erlaubt ist...wegen Euro 5 sind 95 dB erlaubt und die Aprilia hat Standart 96 dB aber ist gerade noch so zulässig....mit Akra wäre sie aber lauter
@@i35-s1las9 Bin ich mir nicht sicher, etwas spät aber trotzdem. Gemessen wird zumindest beim Auto nicht das tiefe Grummeln was hier die Lautstärke verursacht. Es wird das "Schreien" gemessen also eher das hochtönige. Je nachdem... Es müsste mal jemand professionell messen und dann das Ergebnis teilen. Könnte aber auch sehr gut sein das es trotzdem zu laut ist😅

You mess up esthetic of this beautiful machine.........the stock exhaust it's attach at fairing look beautiful plus those pipe are blue the bike run to lean........
Agreed on the looks 100%, the blue is Bc it’s titanium. With the tuning and Aprilia race ECU the bike does not run lean

👎👎👎Riders be aware! My rs660 started leaking oil since first couple weeks and it’s been down a the dealership for about 2 months now!! Called aprilia and they don’t seem to want to do anything about it! I have no idea what’s going on!!
