- Welcome to our Initial Thoughts of the Tyler Warren "Bar of Soap" - we'll be back shortly with the full review to include surf footage etc.
Tyler Warren says - THE FASTEST SURFBOARD OF ALL TIME. INSPIRED BY BOB SIMMONS, RICHARD KENVIN, JOE BOEGUESS AND LARRY MABILE. THIS BOARD IS FAST AND LOOSE LIKE A BAR OF SOAP ON A WET TILE FLOOR.
There’s a myth that these fast and loose fiberglass rectangles are good grovelers, but let us assure you, the soap can handle size and it really turns on when the swell shows up. Surf them shorter than your fish, but push the limits in bigger surf and you’ll ask yourself why you never had one of these in your quiver before.
Tyler says this is the fastest surfboard of all time, inspired by Bob Simmons, Richard Kenvin and Larry Mabile. The soap features a flat rocker, deep concave and long based keels that excels on open faces. The rails are foiled in a very thin, boxy, performance oriented manner juxtaposed with a convex bottom contour that begins with a rolled entry that fades into a rolled vee with some light spiral vee out the tail.

So am I!
great looking board and fun concept. but $1600 for a mini simmons in PU...?!
Hey! $1600 that’s with a tint and wooden hand foiled keels?
Doesn’t seem too bad to me considering a clear pop out JS is over 1k now…
@@TheSurfboardGuide fair comment. I think the problem starts with pop out boards being 1k+
@@thestow35 he shaped me a 4’11 for little over $800! That’s sanded and clear to reduce cost.
@@95ernis that in Aus or U.S? And you mean TW?
@@TheSurfboardGuideyea sorry for the late reply, I live in California so i got him to shape one for me 😊
When are we getting the review?
