- The BMP-3 in World of Tanks Console (WoT Console) is the cheapest route to Era 3 in the game. If you want to get to Era 3 quickly and also end up with one of the best light tanks in the game, go for the BMP-3.

Currently on a BMP2 and I believe I will keep my BMP2 along with the BMP3. I can't let go of the BMP2, so fun to play with.
I didn't know deadeye could work on anything but AP ammo.
I recently got this tank and was more surprised by how it's health pool allows you to take a few hits. My main concern is the growing cry for an arming distance to be implemented to atgms. A lot of BMP players have incorporated shot gunning into their play style which is also beneficial to the weak primary auto cannon. What would a BMP players playstyle be if they're forced to keep 50,60, or 100 meters away from a target before there main form of damage becomes available. Sniping with atgms isn't easy, and having to keep your distance doesn't help with acquiring spotting damage.

I've found I get my best games in it when I passively spot for the first half of the game and then can reliably take out tanks that are already half to three quarters dead and I'm on full hp so can afford to take a couple of hits.
You don't have the speed of the US or American light tanks but the PT-76 is a ghost with the right crew, so save your shots to help pick off out-liers when it's safe to do so and spot in the mean-time.

The BMP line are great tanks, anyone interested in a completely new light tank play style should give these a go. Nice video, some tips there I'm going to try out. I still load HE shells on my BMP3 - mainly because I can get carried away and p**s away the ATGMs early on!!

How did you get the concealment down to 158m??? I've got camo net, vents, Brothers In Arms, food, Camo Expertise, and actual aesthetic camouflage but my still concealment is only 199m. You have muffled shot and green thumb but neither of those effects still concealment unless you're firing or in a bush, right? Keeping the BMP-3 unspotted is very difficult so far.

You forgot to mention that this is one of the hardest tanks for newbies in era 3😂
Really? Seems pretty straight forward to me. 850mm of pen on the ATGMs is fantastic and is only beaten by the Bradley afaik. It's got half the alpha of the Bradley on the main cannon but twice the RPM with more penetration, it seems like a very competitive tank. I'd think the M1 Abrams is far worse.
I am not aware, of a worse tank than the BMP-3 in Cat 3.

You can’t run, you can’t hide..and you aren’t going to damage me with a Leopard 2A5 Challenger 2 or Merkava 3..shit my crappy M1A2 sneezes at BMP 3’s lol.

Save your xp ( for a leopard 2A5 ) it’s garbage..and that’s why nobody USES it ( I got my red star playing it for 3 days ) it truly is a shitty tank.

When you have what amounts to is 15 HEAVY tanks that all average 75 mph slinging around the map..you are not out running them, out gunning them or hiding from them like a BMP1/2.
