As a gear head I wanted to think this piece was cool........ but it seems like its just a pulley albeit streamliined. I'll have to see a way more unique use before a purchase imo.

Fair enough everyone has there own idea of what they think is unique. Compare this to any other pulley on the market nothing has as many applications.

Kgilleran I agree with you. There isn’t much more you can do with this compared to a pinto or other micro pulley in its class (that would also be considerably cheaper).
The main thing you are benefiting from with the at height pulley is its efficiency. You won’t get a sheave diameter as big in any other ‘micro’ pulley until you step it up to the blocks. So for efficiency : size/weight ratio, there isn’t really anything else that measures up to it

@@TheMegachump Yeah I get that it does what a lot of other pulleys can do but in one device and a interesting anchor. Didn't really think of the diameter of the sheave but that's a good point. Maybe I just wanted it to do something I've never seen. I don't really need another pulley lol.

@@wcakgilleran I know what you mean, there’s a couple of things we’ve done which aren’t demonstrated here like a floating anchor, suspending it between two biners or slings. I suppose over time, once they’ve been out a bit longer people will come up with more interesting uses.
