Exciting news! The SPACEFIX series is BACK! This time, I have teamed up with Alastair Williams, who writes about all things space and science related on his brilliant page "The Quantum Cat" (Link in the Description). The SpaceFix episodes will bring you lots of fascinating subjects that you may have missed, the latest space news, plus many subjects that do not have enough information for an independent video, but that deserve one! I hope you enjoy the first episode of SpaceFix! More will be coming soon, along with my normal content as well. Thanks for watching! Rob
Thanks for all your work, Rob! Tho I have a question:
I have an interesting topic that I think you could cover, but I want to be able to send the sources that I had heard of it from. Although I don’t see an official email or anything to send suggestions. Does such a thing exist? How can I best go about this?
If you need to know, the topic is discussing quasi-moons.
The scale was originally designed in 1964 by the Russian astrophysicist Nikolai Kardashev (who was looking for signs of extraterrestrial life within cosmic signals). It has 3 base classes, each with an energy disposal level: Type I (10¹⁶W), Type II (10²⁶W), and Type III (10³⁶W). Other astronomers have extended the scale to Type IV (10⁴⁶W) and Type V (the energy available to this kind of civilization would equal that of all energy available in not just our universe, but in all universes and in all time-lines). These additions consider both energy access as well as the amount of knowledge the civilizations have access to.
So the Sun has weather. Today will be hot with scattered firestorms.
Haha😂
Hmmm, summer all year long
😂😂
The starless galaxy is my favorite. It reminds me of our nation's capital DC. It's full of thousands of politicians, but no actual brains. They just hang out there for decades consuming tax dollars.
Very interesting. Thank you both ( and Rolo too of course ). 🇺🇸❤🇬🇧
😂
Thank you, this is so amazing😮 Especially about the mysterious galaxy without stars
Brilliant work once again, sir. The collaboration sounds amazing, looking forward to it!
I'm in the UK, in the 80s I used cb radio on am and ssb, with the sunspots so prevalent we used to be able to talk with US stations on ssb. miss those good ole days
Certified Platinum!!!!!

Our solar system gets a one star rating ⭐_ _ _ _
OMG!!!! The Sun is my FAVORITE.
Thank you!
Fantastic video, love this channel!
Absolutely love this channel ❤
Yes, I will be watching the eclipse this year. I bought the glasses and everything.
Awesome. Looking forward to many mor episodes.
Brilliant 👏🏼. Thank you.
Great upload video, all the best ...
Great video! Thank you. Looking forward to the spectacular display viewed through my solar telescope 🔭 this year! Last year was pretty good, and I was able to get some good photographs of dramatic solar activity. Hopefully, no repeat of the Carrington Event during this solar cycle!
Innovative again 👍❤
Awesome Video 😄😄
Space is such a weird and fascinating place. I love this channel as it gives me that fix.
Enjoyed ❤
April 8 just happens to be my birthday. What a nice present. Thanks God!
Thanks for reminding me to order those eclipse "glasses" !!! I will be in the direct path and have to do that !! ❤ oh yes..we also have a comet coming in April, don't we?
One of the many threats to our existence. Thank you for the detailed explanation.
Love the Channel, the title and thumbnail teaser was a bit long!
Amazing content, i love your video man. :D

I know the sun is angry when i lose my over the air tv stations ! 😡
I live in winsor ontario and ill be taking a ride up to Hamilton for the eclipse....iv still got my welders glass from the 2017 eclipse 😇
looking forward to April 8th
Hi I like speace and I want to be scientist 🎉
I got a couple CZcams channels I'm subscribed to especially the ones that do astronomy can never understand when when I watch one channel most of the other channels do the same video the same topic can anybody explain that to me I don't know
I think the "islands" on Titan are icebergs since the moon of Saturn is -250 degrees Fahrenheit on average. The dark galaxy reminds me of the Big Bang that birthed the Milky Way billions of years earlier minus the light of course. The sun having weather patterns isn't surprising to me at all. And yes I will watch the total eclipse on April 8, 2024 for it falls a week before my birthday.
Where I live I won’t be able to view the eclipse 😭
I live in Europe and I won't be able to see April 8 solar eclipse 😔
You should go check it out and let us know when you get back.
