The husband says he would not forgive the wife had she committed adultery. This is not easy because as the wife said there are 2 children as reminders
God however is able to provide resurrection power and remove all hurt and pain and restore broken homes and marriages

Am always happy to be open and honest to people like Aunty who are not judgmental or feel like they know it all. She was able to admit she's never been in Ruth's shoes and so might not know what and how it feels. She also mentioned her marriage was not devoid of trials even as a Pastor's wife. Am glad issues like this are being dramatized for us to learn from. I feel like they are becoming prevalent especially in the church of Christ and interestingly no one is talking about them. Thank you so much God bless❤
If this was real, a man like this should not become a deacon so soon until he has healed and got very strong boundaries/ accountability in place. Those in leadership are to be above reproach.

Good message. Everyone needs forgiveness. I like the spiritual picture of her burying it. That unforgiveness dies and and a beautiful forgiveness of blessings grows.
When people hurt us terribly we must understand that it is part of our Christian journey which God uses to strengthen us, encourage us, build us up and ultimately draw us closer to Him. We must look at every hurt from the perspective of Romans 8:28 - All things work together for the good of them that love God, and are called according to His purpose. Even the most ugly disappointments of life helps us if we look at things from God's perspective. Forgiveness is NOT a choice it is a MUST if anyone wants to make heaven - If Jesus can let go of all our sins who are you to refuse to forgive your brother or sister? It is the height of pride and we all know God's view of pride.
True, but the one out that is given for divorce in a marriage is ADULTERY...she has a right to divorce, her husband committed adultery twice...serial cheater...
You can forgive, but you don't have to allow someone to trample all over you...just leave...it's obvious he already left the marriage by cheating and having 2 illegitimate children...you don't have to stick around and let the devil abuse you through your CARNAL husband..who's pretending to be a deacon in the church...😂😂😂😂...some men are hypocrites, they want to have their cake and eat it too...wolves in sheep's clothing....I would have divorced him so fast!! And why are they allowing that sin up in the church...SHAMEFUL, GOD DON'T BLESS MESS...AND THAT 2 BABIES BY TWO DIFFERENT WOMEN IS ADULTERY AND MESS...I WOULD GET FAR AWAY FROM HIM...I WOULDN'T WANT THE WRATH OF GOD ACCIDENTALLY STRIKING ME WHEN IT HITS HIM...😂😂😂😂

Yes forgiveness is the way out but it is not a walk in the park. I’m glad that the pastor asked Deacon if he could tolerate such from his wife ?
Eventually the Deacon has some issues and does need to have serious counseling and accountability structure around him. It will need effort to rebuild the trust that has been broken not once but twice with children as permanent memorial to show for it.

Men at times feel they can do anything and be forgiven by their wives, while they find it difficult to forgive their wives if it's the other way round.

Did the pastor 's wife said he became a deacon after his mistake and that he has truly repented? In my own opinion it's too soon to 'crown'him deacon even tho he has truly repented The wife is still hurting,
people in church and even outsiders will be like hmmmmm that your church

Sis Ruth, though she has suffered alot but she has taken a negative and dangerous stand against God and against her soul. Holier than thou attitude. She has taken the position of a judge, dwelling in unforgiveness for a year. And now the sin of murder. May the LORD melt the stony heart and give a new heart.
Thank God for His intervention and for softening her heart. Though the wound is deep and hurting, the Balm in Gilead is at work already and still heals.
Thank God for the patience of Pastor and Pastor Mrs and their persistent prayers. Indeed God has honoured them.
For anyone in Ruth's shoes, God will help you to forgive,that you will be forgiven and make heaven. Eternity with Jesus is worth it.
Deacon Judah was forgiven by God. If both of them had died Deacon Judah would have made heaven and Sis Ruth would have gone to hell.
May we all continue to run this Christian race with fear and trembling till we see our LORD face to face.

True forgiveness seeks restitution not destruction. What is the point of your forgiveness if you wouldn't give the person a second chance? God is the God of second chances. How many times do we offend God in a day? Yet He is more than willing to forgive us every time and take us back. Any forgiveness that is conditional is NOT genuine from the heart but only a shadow of the real thing. We do not have a choice in the matter as Jesus says you must forgive your brother from the bottom of your heart regardless of how much you have been hurt. Jesus laid dying on the cross, yet he forgave us all without any reservations or conditions. We all must have the same mindset, period. Anything short of that is pride and of the devil. FORGIVENESS IS A MUST FOR ANYONE THAT TRULY WANTS TO MAKE HEAVEN.

Lol, please they do. He may not wear it as a port folio or have a space on the podium, but he will always come like someone God has charge with the burden of looking after your spiritual well being, he will help you till you are strong. "Pastor" is first a spiritual office. Some walk in that grace even before anyone will think of ordaining them.
Our pastors in the denominations also visit, but these days the churches are larger and everyone can't be reach.

Faith without works is dead, what steps are being actively taken to make sure that the husband wins back the trust and affection of the wife and that he doesn't make himself available to adultery again. If the wife forgives she needs to feel secure in her home....nice movie all the same but let's make it a bit more realistic 😉
