Hey ik why they charged more! Its because it's so customizable that its basically a 2 in 1 animal. It can be male or female and you can even take off or add the eyebrows. No other animal can do that so I think that the price is fair only 30 more saps for basically 2 animals.
I mean, to be fair, sapphires feel like theyâre worth less and less nowadays. Back then, I considered 1k to be a lot, now, I just casually have over 20k, yet some higher worth items are still out of my price range XD

I honestly think the cat pride bundle is worth it. Cheetahs cougars and sabertooths have been dream animals of mine for a while, so I bought the bundle. But I'm pretty upset the asiatic lion is 180 sapphires.

Same. I wasn't about to pay 180 for a new animal skin. I didn't have any of them except the lynx. So I had to get it. I just don't like the price in AJ. 180 is ridiculous.

i think theyâre adjusting the prices for inflation, like literally every other company in which no one has an issue with, but i think itâs just for the asiatic lion cus you can add a mane/eyebrows, and they havenât increased the price for the other animals
i hear people are still mad that the membership sapphire price has increased even though, in a monetary sense, itâs worth almost the same, and theyâve added lotssss of perks
You can add udders/horns to a cow yet they're still 150 so the higher price is for inflation
Another thing: The bundle has only one set, not two (and for the same price as bundles with two sets I believe)

My first assumption was that the new lionâs price was higher because theyâd mentioned that the lion is endangered
So I thought they might be donating money to help save them since sapphire purchased might be higher with a higher priced animal but idk
I think the lion has a 30 sapphire price increase is because it has more features, like removing the mane and eyebrows and normally if something has more features cost more, like the movie star den, you can use multiple wall papers so it costs more than all the other dens.

I totally agree with the lion price change.. so annoying! But for the cat bundle (im in the u.s) it's priced $9 , so it's pretty worth it for me! Plus, i only previously owned two of the animals from the bundle. And as for the dollhouse..

I think the ( Cat and wolf) bundles are WAY too pricey. They could be like 5-9 dollars. And earning sapphires should be easy because I've played animal jam for 2 YEARS and the highest sapphires I've gotten without in app purchases was 120 (I was at a sapphire drop but without that, it would of been 74 sapphires)
I'm in the US, and here it's prices $9 (cat bundle) so maybe it's a state/country thing?

I bought the wolf bundle just for the dire wolf đ„Č and the cat bundle for only 3 of the cats, cheetah saber tooth, and cougar. The reson being is because I try to get all animals, they where the last animals I needed besides goat, and I donât mind doubles, I bought 6 cows when they came out not by accident either đ but I feel like they should just re-release them

Also the new bundle with it you can only choose one clothes set instead of getting 2 like you did with the previous bundles. For the same price! Itâs so stupid I was quite shocked to only get one set.

I am a little disappointed that they couldnât just make it like a fab five token. I already have two cougars and one saber. The only ones I am really going for are the cheetah, lynx, and Siamese. Possibly the new Asiatic lion too because honestly I donât mind it. The original lion is supposed to represent an African lion, so it is cool to have an Asiatic one. Anyways, I just wish they could have done a fab five cat token or something. I am still surprised by the price of this bundle too. It might seem like a steal in a way, but even if it was, that is still quite expensive. I am extremely excited for the new den though and the octopus. The member patterns are kinda annoying, but it is quite adorable. And the doll house is so cool! I havenât purchased a new den is an extremely long time and this will definitely be my first one in a long time.

I think the reason they are raising sapphire prices in the game is because they are money hungry. Basically the more sapphires things cost the more people will buy the sap bundles that cost irl money. But I could be wrong. And the fact that they brought back old cats that us old players bought for sapphires this is actually really unfair for new jammers I mean I get they are old but yk it's kinda greedy of them.
exactly! I miss the days when the only things you could spend irl money on in animal jam were membership and sapphires. To spend money on a bunch of animals is bizarre. And honestly the prices to buy sapphires are insane, I made like 15k off like 10 bucks buying the rainbow spiked collars, and while it can *definitely* get you banned and is risky buying sapphires off of other players beats the rates of the ingame store 100%.
I just imagine if the new animal that will be coming (September to December) will be costing this price of sapphires.

They have also started charging more for pets- the pet hamster is going out of stores and it costs 50 sapphires when they usually charge 35 for pets that are leaving.
Didn't they do this for the Christmas 1000 budle as well?
Also in the wolf bundle it was frustrating that they had the normal wolf for gems over the spooky artic wolf. I don't know seem skimpy to me.
The sabertooth has always been my favorite cat. When they first teased them in AJ Classic, i was so excited. Have loved sabertooths ever since i was young. I was even quick to jump on them in play wild when they first came out. The model is pretty solid even tho i prefer the classic one over the play wild one. Saber is my main animal. Kinda unfortunate that not many people use them. Usually i'm the only sabertooth, even if i don't play as often i still log on every once in a while just to make sure i don't lose anything
It's more harder for those without memberships as well because they dont earn sapphires as easy as those with it

Well I mean⊠This incoroges people to get the bundle, and getting the bundle increases your worth after a while, they are helping the players out
I mean you can't trade animals so "increasing your worth" really isn't true at all, animals don't really have a worth attached to them. And no one's really getting helped by this since it's likely they're not gonna rerelease any of the animals in the bundle for a while to get people to fork over money.

I understand, they do need money to make the game up and working. But itâs unnecessary to keep the price 250 for an animal and just one set? Thatâs a bit scammy to me. 180 sapphires is weird. The cow was able to remove the udders and the horns and its price stayed at 150. I donât give a heck if I can change the genders, some people canât afford the animal. Second, WHATS THE POINT OF PUTTING THE LION IN THE BUNDLE WHEN U CAN GET IT SEPARATELY. And third of all, animal jam should literally add buying the cats separately or wolves separately. I think they increase the price on certain items and animals to ensure only a few have access to it.

I don't know how I feel about it. I'm not happy about paying 10 bucks for one animal (i don't plan on using the others), but I really wanted it.

I fear ajpw might become extremely p2w like classic, where the devs need money so badly that it ruins the point of the game. There have been little to no new animals lately, only recolors and even those suck. The new lions have freakishly long muzzles and donât have the same creativity as the older models.
I have 4 out of 6 animals for the cats and 4 out of 5 for the wolves, like, AJ, WHY REAL MONEY FOR ANIMALSSS?! U can even trade animals so ur spending money to look 'cool' really. âš

Woah ! The bundles work out really pricey for usa , in south africa its R185 which with the current exchange rate of 18.47 to 1 dollar works out to 10 dollars and 2 cents

Iâm not a snow leopard expert so I donât know if there is such thing as a snow leopard with a nubby tail. And Iâm guessing Rosy is some sort of goat and Master is like a fox or a wolf maybe? Rosy is a goat, master is a fox, and lucky is a lynx. He used to be a snow leopard and then over time I liked the look of him being a lynx better it fit him more.
