    Paul’s purpose in 2 Corinthians 9:6-15, is to implore the Corinthians to give cheerfully to the ministry of the saints in Jerusalem. To accomplish this, Paul points out the promises, outcome, and the foundation of Christian giving. From this passage we come to understand that four promises in relation to Christian giving: the promises of proportionality, provision, permanence, and plenty. Overall, we understand that in order to become and be cheerful givers, we must have faith in God to fulfill His promises.
