Mizoram's youngest woman MLA bats for more women in governance

- On Mizoram Assembly Elections, Baryl Vanneihsangi, the youngest woman MLA of Mizoram said that she would like to encourage other females in the state to follow their passion. Speaking further, she said that she is dedicating this victory to all the people who have cast their votes in the favour. “I just wanted to let all the females know that even if we're a female, it doesn't mean that this has to stop us from doing something that we like and we are passionate about. I would like to encourage, and also I would like to tell, send a message to all the females in any community and society that if you wanna go for it, then you can go for it. ...This is the victory of the people. The people who want change, the people who want to bring in more development. So, this victory is dedicated to all the people who have cast their votes for us. I would just like to say that let's join hands and work for the betterment and development of the state, not any personal favour, no nepotism, no corruption...Be honest and be right,” said Baryl Vanneihsangi.

@@aoraivlogs9041 Assam has multiple English accents. All are not Assamese speaking. I have not heard other states having a local English Creole even if they may do so. Nothing funny about it!
Meghalayan english is so crisp i love hearing them speak, especially khasi english. And Naga english is eloquent
Fun fact: This is actually how educated Mizo millennials and Gen-Z talk now. We/they are not trying to copy any accent especially American or British, it's just how our English accent evolves based on our natural patterns of speaking and language usage!!

Mizoram has been ruled forever by congress and MNF from the time it became a state. congress and MNF has stop the state from growing by its regressive policies. today this party along with the CM elect is talking about only basic stuff like buying agricultural goods and helping farmers and working on corruption because nothing has been done by this state from the time it was created. 99% of mizo population survives of subsidized rice made available with ration cards-- thats the condition of this state. Mizoram is not suitable for manufacture because roads are pathetic, mizoram is not suitable for tourism because its officially a dry state and tourism infrastructure is non existent. The only way out for mizoram is to make mizoram an educational hub. built universities and colleges and make it a destination for higher education. talking basic stuff and electing a young MLA is in the right direction, but it needs much more.
I don’t think so upgrading Agricultural facilities and helping the farmers will be the best priority... Building universities and Colleges without job ll just increase Educated jobless lazy youth...

Mizoram holds significant potential for tourism, particularly in adventure activities such as mountain biking, cycling, trekking, paragliding, white-water rafting, nature photography, avitourism, etc.
Regarding being a dry state, the younger generation, who vote for ZPM, have more open thoughts on alcohol. Therefore, we may see a wine shop in the near future.
