Ned Flanders from the Simpsonâs is a Canadian biker
Hilarious
@dan wheeler....đđ I see it!
HAHAHHAHA
Yeah definitely looks like him lol đ€Ł
Diddly
When he mentioned banner ads, I had a flashback to the 90's.
4:34 Kevin trying to redo his pitch for him and then saying "what are you, nuts?" when he says he wont charge was hilarious.
Kevin is right!
They dun-diddly-didn't understand my concept, those rascals!
I have an absurd number of tattoos and am covered. Almost every artist has taken a picture of the area and used Photoshop to place it and see how it looks. This went to zero with a bullet.
In the uk they print it off then stencil it on with a pen to position..this software was obsolete from the get go
Kind of hilarious this guy would think this is a piece of standalone software. You can literally do this is ms paint or word.
you could do this in word?
I don't use a single app, my phone isn't connected to the net, and I refuse to use Microsoft products if at all possible, I'm one of those. And EYE knew that it could be done that way. Great point. He embarrassed bikers, that's what he did.
@@Gizmo_- Clip Art, baby! đ
@@Gizmo_- Ya. You don't know how to superimpose images in word?
this is literally just photoshop lmao
That was my thought! You could have done this on your computer using Paint 15 years ago!
The music in the background is as funny as Kevin is in this show . I see why he went to SharkTank where there is an actual chance at making money .
he should be selling those jean pants hat that hes wearing
The problem w bad tattoo, starting drawing, execution. Not placement. Tattoo artists do their own drawing. He didnt explain revenue stream, didn't answer questions. They kept askng.
What's most important with placement is curvature of the body, and flow with the body. That photo had no adjustment for body curves. Very dumb idea.
Mike is explaining the "freemium" model, which is very popular today. We're all utilizing it right now by watching CZcams, which runs ads to monetize site activity. However, there's likely nowhere near enough money in Mike's business for it to be investable.
man, if he sold a monthly subscription of this to tattoo parlors to help their customers make a decision hed be rich right now.
Err... as we say in Canada, "Pas sure."
No he wouldn't be. It can easily be done in photoshop. Even all those years ago when this aired. That's why he wouldn't sell it and just offer it for free to have ad revenue but even for free nobody would want to use this.
Definitely not. You can't just re-size a tattoo and have it work. Also, those photos don't show any curvature in the body. It's a very bad, stupid idea. In a tattoo parlor , they would d a mock up and place it on the skin. Photos can't do that.
@@wolfura MS Paint could do the same...
@@wolfura Adobe subscription isn't free. Plus the learning curve to learn Adobe for each employee is high (Many weeks to master it) + the whole point of this pitch was for people to explore at HOME and then go to the tattoo shops with a higher level of confidence in what to choose.
Can you guys upload these more often? It's just miles better than all the other Dragon's Den & certainly Shark Tank
A startup? this isn't even a goer from the get-go. I could set up what he has in a day, A site with a shitty adobe-style plugin for images to be manipulated and referral links. A guy that literally thought he could make money on the "information super-highway" but he was at least 10-15 years too late to the party.
@@salemkid1979 To be fair this show was aired very long time ago. Having said that the same thing could even be done is MS Paint...
Shark Tank has developed businesses and better pitches.
The businesses on Dragonâs Den are either too new or too dumb to work.
3:11 Arlene, with subtlety, giving Mike the middle finger
Lol Ned Flanders went all gangsta
âThatâs the gang I used to cruise with.â
"they werent listening" every time he got the chance to finish he just repeated the same shit over and over abotu 20 million traffic lol
Why Mike is really there: "I need $150,000 Canadian ($3.75 American) to support my raging meth habit."
This guy was ahead of his time for online Ads
Ted Lasso, if he were a wannabe badass biker with tattoo anxiety, who also wasn't aware that photoshop is a thing
If Mike brought out the biker in him - Treliving was going to bring out the Mountie in him and smack Mike around for a half hour.
Um.... yeah... it's called PHOTOSHOP.
2007 did not have photoshop
@@spideysensestimewasted3692 I had Microsoft software in 2007 that could do it. Don't defend this joker.
No one mentioned Mikes denim hat?!?!? That thing is the real money maker
I wonder where Arlene's tattoo is located???
I wonder if you're a virgin
@@some1intheworld i bet you're gay and you aint pitching, you're catching!
pretty sure we're gonna just keep using transfers. they work fine.
the software is called adope photoshop đ
He kept talking about his software and not about how the investors would make money. That's why they weren't interested.
Just use damn photoshop
Now Mike calm didily doodily down they did they shoddily oddily best!! âđŹ
Ned Flanders pitches badly, my niece has tougher dolls. He shouldâve put on a suit and pitched it as a startup..
So, how is any of the Dragons suppose to make money? lol
Tattoo artists like to draw their own. They donât like it when the customer brings in a picture. They will do it, but they wonât PAY for it.
Rofl
Bring out the biker in him?
Barbara would whip that 60 pound Ned Flanders......
Kevinâs a savage
His money maker is traffic to his site??? Wow.
This would be good as an app but I'm sure it was done years ago.
You have to license software use to the tattoo artist so they can show how tattoo will look on their client's body when client walk in to get their tattoos done.
But the tattoo artist will have to pay a fee to use it.
The hat đ€Ł
flash as in adobe?
When you wear your pants on your head..............
I wonder where is Arleneâs tatto would love to know. đ€
The thing is that the pictures he puts on the photo is computerised and perfect but the tattoo artist may not be that good and won't get it exact.Ive had a few that don't look anything like it was suppose to.
Serious question: Would you be happier if you had stopped after the first one that doesn't look right?
@@kevindunlap5525 I'm not going to rise to it.Whatever I say you probably have a sarcastic answer to it.
@@scratchy1704 It was a serious question and not sarcastic. People's stories about how and why they got tattoos, as well as if they're happy with them years later, is quite interesting. Oh, I'll find a sarcastic answer if need be, but it's not needed here.
@@kevindunlap5525 Ok sorry. Not really because some are ok and they are memorial ones not just for fun.
@@scratchy1704 Oh, I totally get the memorial ones. I've seen many "bad" ones, and it's really hard to deal with, I'm very sure. Yeah, I was totally sincere, and I know how commentary is. No apology! The memory in your mind is the most important one. Be well Scratchy1!!
Ned Flanders comments make me happy the world sees that too
The world always sees. Nobody in the history of Earth has been the only one to notice something
I still don't know what the concept was...
Adobe Photoshop but he came up with it
Now you have AI that can generate tattoos and place it on your body acurately
This showed a lack of knowledge by all of them. Not one of them said, hey this already exists, and its free.
I think they were pretty harsh on him. Ground breaking idea? no. But terrible idea? come on... I agree with them that from their point of view there is not enough money to be made to be worth their time, but they really laid into him which i think was a little unfair and harsh
It is an awful idea. Ask any tattoo artist what they think of people resizing their own photos without the artists' help. You can't just re-size a tattoo and have it work. Also, those photos don't show any curvature in the body. It's a very bad, stupid idea.
Why get a ]tattoo nobody sees
His idea of it getting used as a tool by tattoo businesses was actually smart đ€·ââïž
I think the evidence that this site clearly isnât being used by 20 million people right now is probably evidence to the contrary
@@taylorgriffin3535 Good idea, shit businessman
Might be because you can demo it as much as you want. But then you put it in a humans hands to put that to skin on a human that bleeds bruises etc. Etc.
called photo shop
@@andersonaldo1340 its called photo shop, it already allows this
First time Iâve ever commented on youtube to say Arlene is obnoxious afff đ€
Brilliant idea. If you could keep that on you for a year before you decided to keep it or not I believe the resulting decision would be very different. Most of the people I know who have had several and in obtrusive areas of their body very much wish they had never decided upon having one in the first place.
TERRIBLE idea. And what do you mean "live with it for a year?" Live with the photo for a year?
Ask any tattoo artist what they think of people resizing their own photos without the artists' help. You can't just re-size a tattoo and have it work. Also, those photos don't show any curvature in the body. It's a very bad, stupid idea.
Photo shop already exists
Lmao was this filmed in 1994?
why do this video and his technology and computer look at least 20 years old?
Because it is about 15 years old.
Savage!
Best pitch ever!! It's like a very clever comedy sketch but real LOOOL
P.S: Don't do meth!
Okely dokley
Is it common in Canada to interrupt other people when they speak? Or is this just editing for more drama.
It is common in any audition, or pitch scenario to dismiss the person when it is clear that they are not a good fit for what the auditioner is looking for, in any country.
Dude, Photoshop cam out in 1990...
Iâm sorry but it did look kinda simple.. it looked like it took someone about a month to code..
business meetings at the local watering hole would be very safe with this guy - not
Dudes wearing pants on his head
Hehehehe
Not a terribly original idea but certainly not worth being disrespectful to the guy. Kevinâs prison joke at the end was downright cringe.
@Ruth C. Canayds are so freaking annoying.
Can't stand this autistic version of UK's Dragon's Den.
The pitchers and the investors.
Such a chip on Canayds' shoulders and the accent is cancer when combined with the frustrated attitude.
He didnt have a biz model of revenue stream, was not clear how he wd monitize it. Ask8ng forvan 8nvedtmen5. Didnt answer the question. I think you go to tattoo ARTiST for them to give you a drawing, and have the exoertise to do it.
@@jmharris251 It was very clear. None of the dragons actually understood how Google Ads worked at that time.
He not much of a biker. If he never did time
He's not much of a biker.
Was it before the era of photoshop?
yes it was, photoshop launched in late 2008, this was filmed in 2006 - in all honesty i think thomas knoll took this idea and based photoshop on it.

The Dragons are way too harsh on this guy. Literally couldn't get much info out. I would've at least listened. Maybe something great would've been mentioned but no, talk over him.
Tbh, this is all edited, they talk to the entrepreneurs for atleast 30min-1 hr. It's just edited for dramatic effect
It taught me this; practicality/technicality will always come second to money, when it comes to pitching ideas like this. Bring forth HOW money can be made, and THEN sprinkle within that the practicals/technicals of your idea. This guy went the other way around.
Clever engineer, NFI how to do business
I am just here for that lady đđđ
This is literally photoshop... and we can do on free apps on phone
Bruh the video is from 2007. You probably weren't born then but available tech was different
@@jakecooper5855 Bruh you're probably quite weak in the brains if you think a regular 10 some yr old kid is watching Dragon's Den. Keeping that assumption, I was born 10 years earlier than 2007 and it says the video is just 1 yr old, who'd know when it came out
If he did this as a smartphone app, now hw would be worth millions đ€Ż
