Sorry about the weird camera angle, ball mount wasn't tightened all the way which also led to some nasty glare in the bottom right! It's fixed for the remainder of the videos from this night which will be posted next week!

Great seeing Thrawn in action! I wonder what would have happened if Tyler had threatened lethal on the last round of Game 1 by hitting base with Dooku... Justin was 2 actions away on board unless he had a boost in-hand - did he have the boost? Exciting to see the strategies involved!

Yeah, I think that was a misplay by Tyler. If the boost is in hand, he loses regardless of what he does, but if the booster wasn't there he would have taken that game!

I would have attacked base with thrawn and exhausted the ship, if there was at least a 2 cost on the top of either deck that way you then threaten lethal on the next action anyways and deal with one of Sabine's threats at the same time

    I saw an orc!
Yeah, I’m just not sold on the blue villainy cards yet. Dooku seems good, but otherwise…Heroism has a pretty nice blue roster, though.
Also, is it March yet? I’d like to build my Vader deck…

Game 1 Round 2. Security complex was used to shield the 7th fleet defender. Was that more of a long term play? I'm thinking specifically how the falcon could have been exhausted by thrawn at that time and felt that might have been the better play or do you just lose it to initiative the next turn? That said losing that to initiative costs your opponent 2 resources that turn.

Forward to Tyler, will come back with a response if he recalls! @ryant3910

He said "Exhausting was probably the better play. I wanted the kill. As we play more Thrawn and get big-brained, those plays will come naturally!"

@@GarbageRollers I'd be curious to see Thrawn against a non-aggro deck. I did not like how it played against Sabine. I'm also not sold on exhaust everything as that buys time it doesn't remove the potential damage to your base from the board.

Yeah, aggro will likely be a struggle even when Thrawn finds better pieces. @@ryant3910
