"This is an exciting time to be at BYU. It is the beginning of a new semester, the women’s volleyball team is ranked number one, and no one of you is more than a week behind in your classes. If we keep those two things in the same order, we will be doing well this semester. It is also a time when there is much of significance happening in the world and in the Church. The inspired changes in priesthood quorums and the new emphasis on ministering announced at the April general conference provide ample evidence that revelation is thriving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and that the Lord is hastening His work.
President Russell M. Nelson seemed to forecast that even greater things are in store for us when, at the Sunday morning session of conference, he declared:
Our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, will perform some of His mightiest works between now and when He comes again. We will see miraculous indications that God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, preside over this Church in majesty and glory.
The fact that you are here on earth at this stage of its history is a compliment to you and your potential. As President Nelson recently observed:
There is something undeniably special about this generation of youth. Your Heavenly Father must have great confidence in you to send you to earth at this time. You were born for greatness! The days ahead will be breathtaking. Father in Heaven must have known that you would be just the people He needs to do remarkable things in the latter days-the days leading up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
But with that exciting celestial vote of confidence comes a prophetic challenge. Following his declaration that Christ will perform some of His mightiest works in our day, President Nelson added in general conference an equally thrilling warning and then later an invitation:
In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost.
In that same Sunday morning talk, President Nelson underscored the need for us to receive revelation:
If we are to have any hope of sifting through the myriad of voices and the philosophies of men that attack truth, we must learn to receive revelation.
At the end of his remarks, he added this urgent invitation:
My beloved brothers and sisters, I plead with you to increase your spiritual capacity to receive revelation. . . . Choose to do the spiritual work required to enjoy the gift of the Holy Ghost and hear the voice of the Spirit more frequently and more clearly." - Kevin J. Worthen

This was one of the best talks I’ve ever heard and accidently stumbling on it just confirmed the answer to my prayers of questions about personal revelation!
I am always leaving it up to the lord witch talk I need by listening to the first talk that poops up
Quando eu posso contar com a ajuda em mais um dia para orar ler o livro de Mórmon estudar muitas coisas e priorizar amar eu consigo estender a revelação . Acho que ter uma vida simples ser uma ciclista gostar de estar em contato com a natureza observar os animais não é ruim, observo tudo nesta fase. Duas coisas que ando observando agora, primeiro, os animais se organizando, e acho muito divertido os cachorros quando o meu filho chegando da escola, há dois que moram no bairro sem um dono definido eles se sentem bem a vontade para ir avisar para o meu cachorro no quintal ou com um único latido chegando dentro de casa, que o seu dono está próximo. Incrível como cuidam da vida alheia também.
Outras coisas são as memórias da consciência, nesta vida ganhamos da cintura para baixo quando deixamos de ser apenas consciências e aceitamos o plano na vida pré mortal e ganhamos um corpo e pernas e pés e orgãos vitais e fazemos muitas coisas com o árbítrio e toda a perfeição se formar lei não apenas na Terra. Pensei nas dificuldades de não poder mais andar e nascer sem os membros inferiores tem um pensamento diferente na consciência e como a miséria da mente pode fazer o ser humano pensar medieval em achar que se sem as pernas não doer posso ter vantagens e toda a miséria que as guerras trazem.
Por fim eu o progresso eterno e o conhecimento de plano de Deus numa esfera ainda em construção. Eu sou grata pelos profetas vivos pelo presidente Nelson querido de todos nós nosso profeta vivo e a orientação do Senhor.
