Thank you Ekama for reaching out to me. LNB positioning helps to increase the quality of your signals. Most free to air LNB skew lies between 3:00 o'clock to 4:00 o'clock direction. So, monitor to highest signal point and lock it there.

Yes, use Universal port for the Zapper and Unicable port for the Explorer.
Since, you are using smart LNB, you do not need a heartbeat cable connection. But make sure to call MultiChoice for Extra-view pairing.

Good afternoon sir.
After calling multichoice for the activation of the extra view yesterday and it worked but not all channels were displaying (all football channels had this e16 error code), later everything returned to the e143 error code. No comm from primary decoder.
On my satfinder, I'm having signal strength of 93%, while quality 74%.
I have tried improving the quality but that was the maximum I could get for the quality. I even used your transponder setting to track.
This is my first extra view installation.
I need more frequencies

DStv polarization lies in Vertical V, and also in Horizontal, depending on the transponder you are using.
Is better to use this transponder " 11842 V 27500 "
Where 11842 is the frequency,
V is the Polarity,
And 27500 is the Symbol Rate.

I have a question. We did a repair around our Dstv dish. So later we notice our Dstv is saying no signal. What can we do?

Thanks for reaching out to me.
What you need to do is to RETRACT the DStv signals back using a Satellite finding meter.
It's possible that the signals have been lost.
Also, check if the coaxial cable coming from the dish outside is well connected to the back of the DStv decoder because if it is not, it won't show either.
Another possible cause could be that the POSITIVE and the NEGETIVE terminals have been watched out. To check that, kindly loose the coaxial cable at the back and remove the F-connector to see if the tiny wires and the copper wire are still there, if not, use razor or knife and cut the coaxial cable and reconnect it properly to the F-CONNECTOR and then connect it back to the DStv decoder. After doing these things, the signals will be RESTORED. GOOD LUCK AZEEZ!

If you don't have a satellite finder, then it will be hard for you to install your DStv yourself. So, you need to call an installer closer to you in your location to help you do the Installation.

I noticed there are inbuilt tv cables in the house that can connect from the dish to the sitting room inside the house; there's an outlet in the sitting room and one inside the room. However, I only want to use the one inside the room. I called an installer and he said it won't work if I don't connect it to the one in the sitting room first. Please advise.
