What Kirk said in the Pastors and Politics section is why I wanted Governor Huckabee for president when he ran. I would vote for him in a heartbeat. Sadly, living in Nebraska, I didn't even have a chance to vote for him. In this day and age, there is absolutely no reason that we all can't vote on the same day in the Primary election. I felt like my freedom to vote was taken away from me that year. God bless you Governor Huckabee, and Kirk too.

But, The Bible states that if they won't receive it, the truth, to shake the sand from your sandals and walk away etc....
Also, to have nothing to do with a divisive person after admonishing them 3 times. Some are coming to our churches specifically to divide.
We need to be careful and really know our spiritual discernment.

What Huckabee says about Pastors involvement in politics reminds me of the old Disney comedy "The North Avenue Irregulars," -- based on a true story of how a Pastors involvement saved a community from remaining in the clutches of a gambling ring: in that story, the Pastor questioned the command from his superior to be silent in the matter on the basis of, "we're no more than an empty building with stained glass windows" if we are not a moral force in the community.

Luke Warm Christians. Those who show mercy receive mercy. Those who forgive will be forgiven.
I'm with you guys. Why can't we all get along? Why does everything have to be a fight? Why do we have to try to satisfy the 1-5% minorities like LGBQ, Transgenders, ? Why does sex preferences direct how we are to act.? Can't we just be respectful?
This philosophy is ok as long as Christians keep their standards of belief and not compromise to different standard as acceptable. Let the word of God convict we are not anyone’s judge. Satan condemns God convicts.
I am a very liberal Democrat and I came to God after I started talking and trying to bridge the gap with conservatives (thanks to Andrew Yang who tried to show his followers that we are all americans)

@@amygraham4897 No they didn't... Also I am still very young on my journey to God, so I wouldn't call myself a full Christian yet... But I am definitely deepening my relationship with God and Jesus. I still believe in all that the Democratic party is supposed to stand for... But they have definitely been taking things too far recently... I kind feel the same way about religion now to be honest... I was pushed away from God because of some awful discretions that the church had committed, but I see now how that is just at the hands of flawed humans and that God was not to blame... So I came back to religion... There are many flawed humans in charge of the Democratic party but I still believe in many of the things that the democratic party stood for. However, I am glad that I no longer view Republicans as the enemy, like I once did... You are all my brothers and sisters and God loves us all. I respect and better understand all of your points of view now, but I just don't agree 100% on all of them. I have however changed my mind on financial matters and am definitely much more fiscally conservative then I used to be... I used to say stuff like tax the rich, but I have a much better understanding of the economy now and I would more readily push for no income taxes on the poor and middle class...

Kirk, you are doing a great service to the body of Christ, thank you! But...what would it be like for the typical UNCHURCHED family to see a wildly entertaining biblical world view weekly T.V. SITCOM?
For instance, this Godly (not religious) family would DEMONSTRATE the exchange of ideas, feelings and perceptions with one another without fear
of rejection, all the while observing them as they persue a personal relationship with Jesus! Just a seed thought.

Mike Huckabee is a nice guy and it so often happens nice guys finish last. What a lot of these Christian conservative politicians fail to realize is we are no longer in an environment of politics being aggressive statesmanship but rather modern politics has become War by other means and most Warriors are not nice guys Mike Huckabee is the kind of guy that belongs on boards and local politics but Federal politics is simply just too violent and aggressive for the likes of these types anymore
I struggle with this in my own home. I have a 17 year old boy getting ready to go to college and a 13 year old girl. Their dad and I are divorced and we have 50/50 custody and their dads new wife and family is very liberal. They are around the new wife's Trans ex husband all the time. I literally have no influence over my kids at all. When they are with me I take them to church and we pray, I talk about Jesus but they still don't believe anything I say. I am so sad and don't know how to deal with this. They have their dad and his new family on a pedestal and look down on me and my beliefs. It breaks my heart. 😢

Well I am struggling so much I’m in melt down of witnessing to people everyday good people and when you tell them that they need to trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior to have eternal life they say well that’s your opinion and they are kind and sweet and nice and oh so sympathetic to the gay and trans gender community and the compromise of good reasons to have an abortion so I have big big trouble with this and since the tribulation will take place and God says the last days will be filled with self and lawlessness then I can’t relate to what you were just talking about

I am a Christian and I love God in Jesus and I have two grand children who I want to grow up in a good country, I thank you both for what you’re doing. But I have a question with all this, CRT,transgender, the alphabet people pushing it in our schools and some churches, and in our communities , aren’t we supposed to speak up against it but never in hateful manner,and never violence, but aren’t we supposed to speak up against it, I will not call a man who thinks it’s a woman, a she a woman.I will not say there are more than two sexes, I will not say it’s OK for men to marry men and women to marry women. I never do it in hate but I’m not going to bow down to the woke , I mean now when you go to the doctors office they have all this are you a male are you a female? What are you identify as are you blah blah blah I think that’s ridiculous. In the next time I’m going to write on the form for goodness sake‘s for the Bible purse science. There’s only two sexes, one male one female why are people afraid to speak up how do we do it?
