The new Mini-Kephart is a scaled down version of our very popular Kephart traditional bushcraft knife. This has been one of the most requested knives for Bark River to produce in the last few years. Horace Kephart is known as the father of the American bushcraft movement and his original knife is the root design of most modern Bushcraft knives. This light, compact version is easy to pack and carry and will do the work of a larger knife. The ultra modern crucible CPM-3V steel gives this small knife the edge stability to be used as hard as the full size knife with the size advantage of actually having it with you.

Just got one and really like it a lot. Excellent slicer. Wishful thinking: Put a contoured handle on it, like the "coke bottle" UL Bushcrafter - that feels even better in my hand. Anyway, great stuff you're doing with that CPM 3V, and I have an ever growing number of those...along with the A2's...S35VN's...you guys are bankrupting me! :-)

PS: Used my trusty Dremel to add a sharpening notch to the handle end of the edge. Just like I had to do for a number of my other Barkies. Not sure why this isn't done at the shop in the first place.

i wold like to know where is the center of gravity, it has long blade and short handle so weight is foundamental.

Has there only been one run of these?

Shut up and take my money. Looks allot like a traditional dutch fishingboat knife. Are they going to Miss Jenni in Germany?
