Easily my favorite line here is “you can run I stay behind you every step and I am always in the back of your mind”. For most people, this brings a feeling of dread, since you’re only one step away from death and can’t get rid of them no matter what. But for me, it’s almost a reassurance that, when you’ve done everything else and have ran out of life to live, death is always ready to accept you and bring you into whats next. It’s very beautiful

I mean this in the most genuine, honest to god, no joke way, I want this played at my funeral. It's such a hauntingly amazing sound and the lyrics speak to the more solemn/morbid yet peaceful side of my mind. I'm in love with this and amazed once again, astonishing work.

This song probably became my favorite Falconshield song, even though it's so different from the previous ones. You perfectly captured the emotions and the meaning of Life & Death from Kindreds perspective. Not only in the lyrics, but in the music as well. I especially love the unstrumental parts just after the chorus which has a little uplifting feeling right after the word "satisfied" - this is so damn amazing. Thank you for this song!

I can't help but imagine a 4 comic panel of a child suffering from war, drifting away to their death, is picked up, comforted, and embraced by Kindred as their tears stop falling and the smile comes back to their face which they hadn't experienced for months on end. Kindred understands their death but still is fuelled by disgust and anger knowing who took away the life of a child will live on for years
Technically lamb experiences no emotion, and wolf hardly understands them at all. They do their job and that’s it. Still, I can’t help but wish for the same thing

But lamb understands, yet does not feel, so her reaction would be easily interpeted as being disgust.

Kindred always took a special place in my heart and with this and the new league cinematic I wrote a poem about kindred starting with this song's title, it's my first poem in english but didn't turn out as terrible as I thought it would here are the final results imo:

Always another banger, this song definitely feels based on life. Life isn’t always fair and people are worrying about death too much and don’t really accept death. I myself can live with the fact that my live probably comes to an end eventually but i don’t really mind, i made memories from things i enjoyed or liked and will still make memories about the things to come. (Don’t worry, im only 18 so a lot of memories are still needed to be made).

I only got into League and it's lore last year, but so far Kindred have become my favorite characters by far, their aestetic, design, story and my personal experiences with death IRL make them extremely enjoyable and relatable. I'm extremely glad to knoe that there is asong that captures their personalities and themes perfectly.

I love your work. But this time you didnt hit the voice of the champ. I love it how you tell storys of the Champions and try to create something they would realy do! But here ... i mean okay it could be the one beeing before Kindred. (Split in half so he will always have a friend etc.) But i realy loved how you tried to get the voices of the champs in all the other songs, and im sad we dont have some Wolf and Lamb parts here :(

As someone who’s tried to end it all, I see life as a cruel struggle where we’re always tested, placed in the most unpredictable of situations. Life tests us like it’s just begging for us to give into its power, to let it win, to let it control us. Death is often seen as a dark presence, it takes those we hold dear, it is seen as unholy only because we can’t accept the loss.
To everyone reading this, whether it’s today, a month from now, or in the passion go years, life doesn’t control you, tame it like it’s a wolf waiting to strike. Accept death for its natural occurrence and accept it as a simple lamb.
Even though life is seen as soft and soothing to some, a simple blanket of a sheep’s wool, it’s still cruel and cold. Death may take those we love, but it’s with death we are reunited. Death may seem like the end, but at the end of every story, you get to read it all over again.

But I honestly think it's a bit of wasted potential that we didn't get any switching vocals from Lamb and Wolf. It would have just fitted so well.

At first I was wondering why the vocals weren't a woman's to represent Lamb but then I realized that the violins were Lamb, the guitars were wolf and the vocals were a mix of both. Lamb being the peacful death, and Wolf being the violent death. Never one, without the other.
