For those who don't know, Yang Zi is a former child star. She's been in this entertainment industry for 20+ yrs now (others even considers her as senior), and she's known for being a professional and great actress. It was firstly released on a platform called AO3 and then Weibo. It is said that the appearance of it on Weibo had triggered Xiaozhan’s fans to complain about this novel and its author to the authorities, which resulted in the censoring of AO3, hence the boycotting from certain AO3 users. Since the first quarter of 2020, massive insults and boycotting have been organized. Xiaozhan’s work was brought to a standstill for almost a year. Meanwhile, Weibo blamed Xiaozhan and/or his studio for not managing his fans properly, claiming that XZ was responsible for his fans’ behaviors.
Well, I have not managed to understand the logics behind these people. First of all, the author actually used the real names of XZ and WYB for her erotic novel, but in the end, XZ has been the one to be blamed. Secondly, could XZ be seriously responsible for his fans’ behaviors? That’s hallucinant for me. I saw some insults on a few platforms. It’s honestly sickening.
Lately , some people start showing “evidences” claiming that these events may have been purposely developed and organized...
