Leisure 17 sailing boat

First sail to lundy island to swim with the seals and have a adventure!
anchored up at jenny's bay hiding from a eastly wind below the most amazing cliffs with beautiful wild life puffins ,guillemots ,porpoise and seals!
the sail over was pretty straight forward with the wind and tide taking us there with ease.
we had some nice constant eastly winds and we used this to do a lap around the island on the first morning and then headed back to a new anchorage at jenny's bay and swam with the seals all ways amazing to see them!
The sail home on the other hand was a beast beating in to a strong east wind and getting nowhere fast we put the engine on and motor sailed home with buckets and buckets of spray to the face for at least 5 hours it was brutal but worth every second after what lundy island had dished up these few days!

She was such a fun boat! And lovely to sail solo! We moved on to a leisure 23 the 17 was just a bit small for our needs but such a fun boat😊🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
