1=हमें हाइब्रिड के बजाय देसी बीज का उपयोग करना चाहिए देसी बीच में न्यूट्रिशन लेवल ज्यादा होता है हाइब्रिड के मुकाबले
2=देसी बीज में प्रोडक्शन कम होती हेहाइब्रिड के मुकाबले पर टेस्ट देसी का अच्छा होता है
3=देसी बीज को हम इन्वायरमेंट में लगा सकते हैं
4=देसी बीच में हम केमिकल का कम प्रयोग करके भी प्रोडक्शन ले सकते हैं हाइब्रिड बीज में हमें केमिकल का ज्यादा उपयोग करना पड़ता है

My opinions on desi and hybrid seeds selection -
सारे कारण pros and cons तो आपने बता दिए मैं कुछ मेरे सुझाव डालना चाहूंगा -
१. देखिये पहले तो जो किसान एक ही तरह की crop लेता हो जिसे माल बल्क में बेचना है तो वो किसान जरूर से hybrid बीज ही खरीदे, क्योंकि उसे ज्यादा production निकालना है और वो हाइब्रिड बीज से अच्छा खासा production निकाल सकते है।
२. जो किसान सारी crops लेकर retail में बेचते है जैसे कि सब्जियों को बेचते है (हरदिन use होने वाली सारी सब्जिया) वो किसान जरूर try करे कि देसी बीज इस्तेमाल करे क्योंकि उसे customer को अच्छी taste वाले और ज्यादा पोषक सब्जियां खिलानी है ऐसा करने से customer हरबार वही आके सब्जिया खरीदेगा।
३. Hybrid और देसी बीज से ज्यादा हमे हमारे soil पे ध्यान देना चाहिए, hybrid बीज से हैम भले ही organic खेती करें पर वो genuine हो बीजप्रक्रिया करते वक्त कोई भी chemical use नही करना है।
४. देसी बीज को priority इसीलिए भी देनी चाहिए क्योंकि वो हमारे local area की होती हैं, वो सब्जिया हमारे यहां के मौसम में बरसों से उगाई जा रही है(जैसे एक ठंड प्रदेश में रहने वाला व्यक्ति गर्म प्रदेश में ज्यादा दिन नही रह सकता) उसी तरह सब्जियों के haybrid बीज कितने भी अच्छे क्यों ना हो लेकिन उस area में उगाई जाने वाली देसी बीज के मुकाबले कमजोर ही होती हैं।
५. और देसी बीज खरीदते वक्त ये भी ध्यान में रखना चाहिए कि हम हमारे area से ज्यादा दूर की लोकल बीज से ज्यादा हमे हमारे आसपास की जगह की बीज पर ध्यान देना हैं क्योंकि हर जगह मिट्टी और मौसम अलग अलग होते है और देसी प्रजातीया उसी हिसाब से कुछ बदलाव भी करती हैं.(जैसे कि आम के पेड़ विदेश में कितनी भी अच्छे से देखभाल करेंगे फिर भी हमारे यहाँ (रत्नागिरी) के आम के मुकाबले taste में फरक दिखाएंगे जरूर।

Firstly congratulation on the 100k subscribers. It was a very informative video.
Only when there is difficulty in finding Desi Seeds you are supposed to use Hybrid seeds. Preference should always be given to Desi seeds. You can also use draught tolerant hybrids if your in a draught prone area or disease tolerant hybrids if your in area where crops are prone to a particular type of disease.
It is always better to use Desi seeds as they have better nutritional value and they also have better viability. Usually desi seeds are well accustomed to a particular area as they were cultivated in that area for generations and cope well with sudden change in the climate. Apart from that it is also very important to use Desi seeds for that sole reason that to preserve the diversity and heritage of our country.

After watching this vedio I came to this conclusion that how big companies had influence the people for using hybrid seeds for their own benefit .
As hybrid seed needs more pesticides , fertilizers , water after knowing this things govt is not promoting desi seeds .

Sir today's question is= In which condition we use Hybrid seeds ?
Sir my answer is - conditions like already you told like where irrigation water quality is poor, where more pest and disease are affected to crop, and climate condition are not suitable for crop, and seed quality is poor in many characteristics like (germination%, purity%, not high in production) so in these type of situation are applied on seed than there we use Hybrid seeds because hybrid seed are made for all those purpose that we are overcome all those defect in our seed .
And many things you all ready told in this video so these are sufficient to use Hybrid seeds as compare to Desi seed
And my opinion in today's topic is we want to save Desi seed and improve self life of our seed and maintain the quality of Desi seed like provide proper temprature, moisture, oxygen and etc.
As you say that Desi seeds are very good in taste and healthy in nature to consume. So we should prefer Desi seed and save Desi seed and if Desi seed are not available than we can use Hybrid seeds.

Indigenous seed are best but here are some of the circumstances where we can use hybrid seed
1.First and important reason is when indigenous seeds are not available , generally indigenous seeds of some local plants such as spinach , cooriender are present but not of okra etc .
2.If the targeted customers wants good shape , size , colour then hybrid seeds are necessary.
3.If a particular belt of land is having some problems eg more diseases , then if indigenous seeds of that belt is not there then diseases can attack more , so here hybrid seed are used.
4. They can be used where there is no problem of water , fertilizer and we want more and more production there we can use hybrid seeds.

if in organic farming desi beej is not available , then we can use hybrid beej. but hybrid beej needs for fertilizers, pesticides and need more water. Though the production are good looking and big in size and shape , they may be less in nutrition and less tasty.
Instead desi beej is more suitable in local enviornment. needs less water to grow. needs less pesticides. sustainable for local climate. Though crop and vegetables we get from them , their size is small and may be less attractive to look , they are good in taste and more healthy . so everyone should give prefrence to desi beej. #organicacre

Good but Govt. will not decide whether Hybrid will come under Organic or not.. Like u said that we must opt for Desi Seeds.. Also, u said that Hybrid seeds does require loss of Independence, encouragement of Pesticides, and more water dependency which clearly means they does not pass the requirement of Organic nature.. We must travel far away and must gather desi seeds and create our own seed bank also give them away to local farmers for free, just adding one condition that they will do the same and ask them to give u some other variety of desi seeds in exchange.. This way we can reseed our beloved Mother earth..

1. ज्यादा उत्पादन के लिए: हाइब्रिड बीज का मुख्य उद्देश्य ही ज्यादा उत्पादन था तो लोग ज्यादतर इसे ज्यादा उत्पादन के लिऐ काम में लेते है।
2. मौसम के साथ ज्यादा स्टेबिलिटी: हाइब्रिड बीज मौसम के साथ ज्यादा स्टेबल रह सकते है देसी बीज की जगह।
3. पानी की समस्या में: भारत में बहुत सी जगह पानी खारा हो रहा है या पानी की कमी हो रही है तो उस दशा में हाइब्रिड बीज ज्यादा उपयोगी होता है।
मुझे केवल देसी सब्जियाँ ही पसंद है, लेकिन बहुत मुश्किल से ही मिलता है। देसी सरसो का साग मैं बहुत खोजती हूँ, नहीं मिलता। और presently बाजार में मिलने वाला बडे पत्ते का सरसों का साग कच्चा खाने पर गले में लगता है। मुझे कच्चे देसी सरसों के साग की चटनी लहसुन मिर्च के साथ पीसकर खाना बहुत पसंद है, लेकिन नहीं मिलता। थक गई हूँ खोज खोजकर 😔
जब देसी बीज नही मिलेगा तो हाइब्रिड लगाना मजबूरी हो जाता है और आजकल के ज्यादातर नासमझ लोग असली नही चमक धमक पसंद करते हैं।

What's desi beez , why they are called "desi", because they are Nature's selection for that particular environment ,acclimatised to that region , seed Banks to be encouraged in local level , co-operative way may be to pamper farmers ,so that they can preserve their own local variety ,and probably to counter endeavours of Monsanto and alike ,Govt has a major role to play here ,if we want sustainable future we must adopt and encourage for use of local seeds , but the change would not come instantly , for the time being the use of hybrid seeds have to be continued ,so that our food production does not fall heavy and we should not becomes other Sri Lanka ,the shift from hybrid to desi seeds should be gradual and continuous ...

Desi beej har jagah ke according alag alag hote hai vo us environment ko suit kerte hai disease kam lagti hai and resistance value b high hoti hai to kharab environment me bhi bach jati hai but wahi hybrid seeds ke survive kerne ke kam chance hote hai and sabse badi baat desi seeds ke fruits se hame wahi nutrition value milti hai jo hame waha ke environment ke according chahiye hoti hai jaise ki thande area me fruit kuch or hota hai wahi garam ilaake me alag hota hai. How can I ensure that the products I buy from Organic Acre are from desi seeds only. The produce I buy from some other farmers are grown using desi seeds only and I don't wish to go back to hybrid. Is it possible to get the list of items grown using desi seeds only?
One feedback, banana I had purchased from OA sometime in Oct'20 was very different in taste viz-a-viz market ones indicating either riped naturally or without using chemicals, however, when I bought bananas recently in Dec'21 after a gap of more than a year, it tasted like the ones bought from the market. Why so?

As per norms of Agriculture Society of India if farmers want to do organic farming they can use hybrid seeds if they do not get indigenous seeds suitable to your environment.
Hybridization of seeds has been happening by nature itself since thousands of years hence our grandparents used to say they were eating different colours, sizes and taste of corn, tomatoes, lauki, tori and many many other things.
As per government norms for organic farming, If we unable to get desi seeds then we can use hybrid seeds. All we knows Desi seeds are unbeatable but there are below conditions where we can use hybrid seeds.
1) Availability is the main factor where we can use hybrid seeds.
2) In organic farming if we are planning to do control farming like polyhouse, shade net house, green house then hybrid seeds are more preferable where we can control all the conditions and get large as well as quality production.
3) In organic farming urban population is the main target which prefers food, fruits, vegetables with attractive colours, shine, shape, size and texture. In this condition hybrid seeds are more preferable.
4) Hybrid seeds can modify as per requirements like more production, disease control, paste management, achieving - shape, size, colour, texture, uniformity. Also they can modify according to water, soil and environmental conditions. Which can gives benefits to the farmers.
5) Hybrid seeds production have good acceptance from market as well as urban population.
