I've not even finished pile 1 yet, but had to say, I was originally going to school to become a surgeon at one point, and then I got a chilling vision in the middle of the semester to become a writer. It was the kind of vision you wake from crying and shaking. I changed my major the very next day, no hesitation. This foresight and juggling all the details at once, using tools, analytics, all this meticulous work are still incredibly relevant to being a writer. Being a writer is like having 50 jobs at once, and I do handle pressure very well. Can't function without it. I got out of touch with my writing the past few years, but after getting deadly sick new years day, my life has made a 180, putting writing back on the forefront. Shifting my focus back to writing this year, I've quickly become a leader figure in my writing community, and I won a writing competition. I still can't stop thinking about becoming a doctor though. Even as a little girl, that's what I wanted... so I think I'll go back to school and make it happen. Maybe I'll be a vet and save/ rehabilitate wildlife.
