Men in this society prefer to be more established before settling down. There are always exceptions, but a lot of them do. After he has all of his investments and income streams and feels good that he can give a partner what they deserve, usually in their thirties, then they are ready to prioritize marriage, but before then, business comes first. I'm sure Kendall feels the same way as a career driven woman.
