I have 240 single phase going into the breaker box. It's acts just like the breaker box in you house. Each breaker connects to only one leg. Thus 120 per breaker. Each single breaker is connected to 1 outlet. I'm using double breakers. Not double pole 240. there is a switch behind the panel to select 1 phase or 3 phase.
S Snider just want to say awesome setup. I already went to home depot to get all my supplies to replicate the same set up. I have the same generator but a 2006 model
Justin Miranda Cool. I almost have complete everything needed to connect the gen to the house backup power. This spring I will permanently place the gen on a slab of concrete. Had transfer switch installed.
Awesome, I’m having mine installed Thursday but I’m not doing a transfer switch i’m installing a interlock kit already have the slab poured so I’m almost ready for hurricane season
How do you have it set for 120 if your hooked up to 220. Do you have the switch behind the panel set up for 120 single phase?
