I just had big expectations for IG in MSI, it's hard to defend champions title in upcoming worlds with improved LCK, EU, NA etc. We had a 9-1 record too, but that last game from SKT was a good signal, that IG have to respect opponents, and learn how to deal with pocket picks from any team. Well, anyway, it shouldn't always favourite team win tournaments, i'm happy for Doublelift and TL.

impact has and will always be the most underrated player. hes in a class of very few when it comes to team fighting and things of that nature. he always knows when to go in and when to engage. the triple stun reacted to a half second later could of been a loss fight.
I love hearing the predictions after I already know the outcome.
Worth watching again, specially after Doublelift threw some shade at IG.

@Fab Elger LEC is a top heavy region, whatever G2 do there, it's not that relevant internationally, they can get away with many things, because the competition is lower in EU. At the WC, you saw how Griffin destroyed in every way possible to them at 2 different times and how nothing of what G2 usually did against any other team, it worked against FPX; FPX were the ones who made the meta for the WC. Did you remember Trick? He was a top jungler in EU, even his predictable and bad ganks worked there, meanwhile, once he went to play to LCK, when LCK still was strong, none of them worked, that G2 jungler also can get away with many things in EU, that's why he seems to be good. I'm not saying G2 is a bad team, thing is, once they face teams which defy them and they don't play pre-2018 League of Legends and good teams from other regions, that's when you see their real strength. By the way, in 2020 Spring, which 2 teams are at the top? Surprise, surprise, G2 and FNC.
DoubleJJ or CoreLift, whatever u wanna call them, they where one of the best duos IMO, the cheers they got from the crowd compared to everyone else was huge lol, they had more fans then the rest of TL and the reigning World champions bar maybe Impact who also got a lot of fans.

The thing with IG, just like Samsung White back in the day, is that they perfected early game unending aggression, so midgame and lategame never come to be against them at all. I´d say the counter to that TL found in this particular game is mid TP. Sure you lose kill pressure without ignite, but only Faker and Chovy in the whole world can hope to beat Rookie in lane anyway, so it doesnt matter. Once you thwart the first Ning masterful gank, IG starts visibly crumbling in confidence super fast.

Riot updates changes how jungle camps work, it impacted junglers like Ning. That's why IG was not as strong as in 2018 final.

Let's be honest, this was supposed to be IG's game. Even impact didn't expect that triple root. And then IG decided to fight TL straight up despite having the option of splitting and avoiding the sivir braum j4 trio. Not that IG couldn't come back after the triple root, but if it wasn't for the triple root the game ended right then.
TL had 3 dragons before Ig got baron , theyre gold levels were actually quite even
@@feitan3743 gold level doesn't mean much because TL draft, aside from Sylas, still needs time and more items to start ramping up. Ryze and Syndra was huge at that point, if the last fight started with IG's terms, TL couldn't turn it around, just like every skirmish and teamfights around baron.
@@feitan3743 also out of the 3 drags, only infernal actually helps them at that point of time.

Felt like they played around the first two games and turned it on for game 3 only to eff it up in game 4. Still, this is probably the biggest upset ever. So congrats on coming in 2nd once again at MSI NA.
I would not say the fucked up. This is how IG plays and TL just outplayed them in their own style. Only winning lane was top lane from IG. Rookie was hard camped by both ning and baolan. Jensen basically did a 1v3 and came out even very impressive.
