Great video! This sim is just awesome. I'm a rl pilot, too, and have more than 1000 hrs in the sim..lol Saves me a lot of money. With a beefy rig, the sky is the limit. Can't even start to imagine what it will be like when the new VR headsets With pancake lenses, like the Varjo Aero hits the market. The next few years are going to be extremely interesting simulation wise. Happy New Year and happy flying, bud !
It looks great indeed and it's by far the greatest advantage of MSFS over any other flight sim. You can easily spot the difference how RL pilot reacts to the turbulence on takeoff and how MSFS tries to mimick this by moving the horizon. In VR terms "RL pilot has his camera locked to the horizon" while "MSFS has camera locked to the frame". After a while you'll start noticing more and more while flying in VR and it becomes a huge immersion killer. Still even after it has its quircks and odd ends its still the dream come true that I had back in the '90s when I first tried Forte VFX1!

Amazing, I think the 3 biggest differences (which aren't that big) are Reflections, Shading/Lighting, and Terrain.
The sim looks like your flying on a hazy day. I'm building a 7 and love this sim but wanted to ask how real does the sim fly?
What's your graphics card? 3090?
