Roger made a bit of a mistake in his speech (must have been the brownies, lol). The Wailers were the backing band for Legalize It with the I-Threes on backing vocals. In fact both Peter & Bunny had The Wailers as their backing band for their debut solo albums. Robbie did however fill in for certain songs (as he did on the 'Catch A Fire' album for "Concrete Jungle"), however Sly & Robbie didn't officially become his backing band for studio recordings until "Equal Rights". They went on to also make Bush Doctor, Mystic Man, & Wanted Dread & Alive. They also did a few songs on Mama Africa before disbanding with Peter in '83, which is why you don't see them performing with him on Captured Live (Mama Africa Tour). Love & Blessings. We still love Baba Roger nonetheless! :)

Je trouve que ce duo (de légende !) a vraiment du mal à se renouveler... C'est toujours un peu pareil, surtout Sly qui ne cherche pas à enrichir son jeu à la batterie : il ne prend aucun risque sur sa charley.
