My dad says that even if you get a lot of money it goes back into the farm and family to make the home stead work ! I am 17 and just my driving license and just got a job in a general store ! Saving is really hard but try every week to put some in the bank ! Congratulations on selling your goats 🐐 My garden of tomato 🍅 are going away quickly but I love eating them and the summer squash. Awesome with butter ! Take care !

That's awesome! We are always a little scared when we sell livestock cause you never know who is going to show up and what their intentions are for the animals. We have been pleasantly surprised almost every time. We just sold one of our bucks last week and we meet the nicest couple (originally from Ireland) and talked til late in the night. Congrats

I never skip when I see Arms Family has a new vid up. Inspiratinal and encouraging, all around. But.....I would hate to be competing for space in that cage, on a 3 hr trip home. (If I were a goat. Or not a goat!) At least they won't have to worry about falling down. Lol

I can hear a car on my grandparents road they live far far out about a mile away distinct sound to hear tires on gravel its doesnt seem like a loud sound but man it travels

Hi I'm a huge fan of you I live on a farm and we have over 100 cows and three dogs,one cat, six horses, three mules, six chickens, one rooster and my horses are funny . One is named cowgirl, butterscotch is so weird

I can’t believe they put all those poor goats in that cage. They have to ride three hours cramped in that small cage. That’s cruel!

Bryan Avey, however, since it was not an enclosed cage some of them will lay down and some will just naturally stand. Ever hear of cow tippen well the reason its possible is some prefer to stand all day and night. Talk about crowded, when I was teaching school a student took me to his farm and they had 100 hogs in a barn, only aloud each pig 4 square feet of floor space, i could never do that mine each have 15 square feet and then when it warms up they go out in the yard and have a ton more. It was so intense in that barn that i throw my leather jacket away cause i couldn't get the smell off of it even after cleaning.

You are too funny. Literally, you are very funny. Not sure where you are located, but you mention that the gentleman & his gentle mini-me were from Sulphur Springs Texas. I am from California, but have several relatives, including my dad and his wonderful wife who live in Sulphur Springs, Texas! Actually, that is where I am moving to this summer to help take care of my father who has Alzheimer's and can't be left alone. Watched your video about thinking about getting goats & then this one.
On a more serious note, how do you butcher your goats, or do you send them off to be butchered?
Thank you! I live in Southern Oklahoma. We actually haven't eaten any of our own goats, at least not yet. I usually just sell the kids after they reach about 50lbs.
