I hate to do it to them, but wemby is currently at best the 6th best forward/center this season by eye test after bron, davis, kd, kawhi, jokic. The debate is who is that 6th F/C is: pg, wemby, sengun, chet, kat, or some1 else i may be missing? I feel like there are 6 locks for west guards already in steph, edwards, sga, luka, dbook, and d fox - so 6 +5 =11 already essentially filled up. So he can be that 12th person, but i feel like a reward to pg, chet, kat, is more likelier to happen, cuz there's ppl like chuck and Kenny, who first look at standings, distribute how much each team will have, then choose the stars lol. I'm not kidding when I tell u what I remember from last yr's pre-selections, Chuck and Kenny wanted to legit put aaron gordon in there for the West last yr 😂😂😂. Like wtffff that's just top tier idiotic deeming aaron gordon as a star, and a top 12 player in the west. But whatever its tradition for us to be idiotic, so ig lets continue what we do best.

LOVE this kid... hope nothing but the best for him and that he stays healthy because he will give us nothing but wonderful and special basketball moments over the next 10+ years. Can't help but smile when watching him
He probably won’t until his handles get a little tighter. As much as I hate to admit, that’s his weakness. He’s good at it, but he’s been getting sloppy as of late and teams are starting to do the only thing they do, which is try to steal the ball.
I am partial as a life time Spurs fan but this guy is special he's got the talent, but he's so humble and high basketball IQ he's amazing all he needs is a little more help
I'm so happy to see a normal, well put together, humble young star without this American gangsta mannerism and style of talking. Equally it's a pleasure fore to listen to cool and eloquent players in studio like Vince and Jamal who can be role models that we need. I love Grant Hill for the same reason but don't know if he is still on TV. Guy from Europe
@@micahjohnson138 hahaha, good to know. It's not racist btw. I say the same thing regardless of who speaks like that and put on a style like that which is acting and not natural. I'm from Poland and when Gortat, Polish player, played in the NBA, he said that it was many times hard to have a normal conversation with some guys because they were mostly interested in playing that gangsta behaviour wether speaking or acting and he was finding it as an obstacle. Nevertheless I love the young man and wish him all the best and hope he will become Kareem Abdul Jabbar 2.0!
4 months later... he is working with Jamal ! Being taugh by Robinson and Duncan isn't enough for him. Many legends will come and contribute to his raise to greatness because they've seen how he loves BB. Next season he coud be MIP and that's scary. If healthy, Victor will be legendary. Next step : reducing his TOs and raising his catch n shoot ratings to his pull up 3s level. Boards will increase and if he has better teammates and more minutes, assists will do the same.
We're watching a created player come to real life..this is insane watching him. I can only imagine watching him in 3 yrs..look at his shoulders, you can tell if he ever puts on weight, he would be even more intimidating. He's an amazing person and looking forward to his future
Wemby, my respect for your game grew even more now: "In Europe, it is called the "Dejan Bodiroga". Well said, the move wasn`t invented by Shammgod, it was a croation player in the 80s, who did it first. And Dejan made the move famous in the 90s, because the Euroleague was covered more on tv. No offense to Shammgod, but Dejan was a pro and way more better and successful player on the highest level..
As a lifelong spurs fan and San Antonio resident, I'm truly proud of how this guy conducts himself on and off the court, we are extremely fortunate to have gotten him. If we get another top 10 pick next year, things are going to be interesting, not to mention the myriad of free agents that will be available
This move is originally done by Danko Cvijetičanin (EX-Yugoslavija) during the 80s. Later done by many others like Sasha Djordjević, Dražen Petrović, Dejan Bodiroga. The spanish guys call it "El Latigo" (the whip). It is NOT the Shammgod, cause this was done before he claimed to found it. He probably saw it on the World Cup in the 80s on TV and stole it.
How can you not admire this guy? This guy is humble, talented, and legit.

@@StrygwyrBS You don’t think he will be on the reserves?
You can see how starstruck he was by Vince, love that hes on the team I suport because he seems like a really genuine guy. Great person to build a team around
Je l'aime bordel, notre fierté 🇨🇵
Vembi legendo ❤️
The league is in good hands with young dudes like Victor coming up. His character is as impressive as his skill set.
Allez Victor! ❤
LOVE this kid... hope nothing but the best for him and that he stays healthy because he will give us nothing but wonderful and special basketball moments over the next 10+ years. Can't help but smile when watching him
Such a nice and humble guy! I hope he stays that way
I’m glad TNT got VC
I didn’t have faith in this guy coming into the league but he is proving himself. He’s the real deal.
Yo we gotta see Wemby doing Jamal Crawford moves 🤌🏾
He probably won’t until his handles get a little tighter. As much as I hate to admit, that’s his weakness. He’s good at it, but he’s been getting sloppy as of late and teams are starting to do the only thing they do, which is try to steal the ball.
I am partial as a life time Spurs fan but this guy is special he's got the talent, but he's so humble and high basketball IQ he's amazing all he needs is a little more help
So nice not hearing someone calling him WembanyaNA
Really though.
Most of them still say AntetokoumBO.
I'm from France but dont be racist because in french wemby speak like these young black american he just can switch hes very smart
Bodiroga❤
Imagine if Jamal Crawford trained Wemby on how to do the Shake & Bake then Vince Carter taught him that 360 windmill
Just being taught at all by legends such as themselves is a rare honor
Bodirogaaaaaa!!!! Respekt
Its like wemby learning rasengan, damn I’m excited on that secret move! Hahaha
Love love love this interview
He's a nice dude,
Wictor Vembanyama🙌🙌
We were robbed of a Jamal Crawford all-star appearance man I can only imagine😮😮😮
The smile when he heard it was Vince and Jamal 🫡🤙🏾
Damn dude was in the gym AFTER the game? Sheesh 😅Dude’s gonna be a terror if he ever gets that killer instinct man
If? Have you watched much of him? That kid is here to eat!
He already has it
Bro 4th game in his career he drops 38 points with a lot of it in clutch time. Hes got it already
My Man, the kid is hunting for all the smoke each and every game.
Yeaaa he actually already turns it up a level in the 4th. Dude is special
so happy to be spurs fan
Gotta love this kid...all the best to him.
That move is from Bodiroga
i think it was really the european legend Bodiroga who made it popular or correct me if i'm wrong.
No, read my comment above in the comment section.
Wat a great kid he is so respectful and genuine ❤hope he has the best future
Wemby, my respect for your game grew even more now: "In Europe, it is called the "Dejan Bodiroga".
Well said, the move wasn`t invented by Shammgod, it was a croation player in the 80s, who did it first. And Dejan made the move famous in the 90s, because the Euroleague was covered more on tv. No offense to Shammgod, but Dejan was a pro and way more better and successful player on the highest level..
Look at wemby man, so inspirational
It probably won’t happen but I want him to be an all star this year
Wemby doin a shake and break would change everything
"You're the creative player that creative players would create"
Dayumn
I really like that quote "if I can be the best then I must be the best" ,Wemby
Бодирога бајо. 💪🏼
This dude will be a legend💯
I need Jamal to show one of these on camera 🙏🏽
"Victor, can you do the..." YES
Gotta love Wemby, great attitude
