Bro, no one is saying you're not a Muslim if you clean shave your beard. But you can't change the religion, if a healthy man doesn't go Friday jummah prayer he can't say that's not compulsory. He must say "I'm struggling right now, and insha'Allah one day I will start going".
Haven't you noticed every single prophet had a beard? It's not about being clean, it's about being distinct as a male and following the command/way of the prophets.
I'm a revert too. When I didn't have a beard, I didn't say "Muslim men don't need to grow a beard". I said "I know Muslim men need to grow their beard, but rn Im too weak to do that, insha'Allah in the future I will."
    Allah knows best.
May Allah let us die as the best Muslims we can be.

"It's nothing in the Qur'an that says you have to have a beard." Sorry brother, the Qur'an and hadith go hand in hand. In matters of religion, whatever the prophet spoke was not his words, but revelation from Allah. Therefore we MUST obey these words (sahih hadeeth) as we obey the Qur'an. Obeying the messenger is obeying Allah(surah 4:59.)How did the companions understand these words? From my understanding, the prophet said "trim your mustache and don't touch the beard, be the opposite of the disbelievers" (paraphrasing.) I believe it is Haram to cut your beard. It's not easy to learn so much at once, but you have done well brother moshAllah. May Allah give us patience to learn his deen. What is the ruling on shaving the beard or removing part of it?
    Answer
    Praise be to Allah.
Shaving the beard is haraam because of the saheeh ahaadeeth that clearly state this, and because of the general application of texts that forbid resembling the kuffaar. One of these reports is the hadeeth of Ibn ‘Umar who said that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Be different from the mushrikeen: let your beards grow and trim your moustaches.” According to another report: “Trim your moustaches and let your beards grow.” There are other hadeeth which convey the same meaning, which is to leave the beard as it is and let it grow long, without shaving, plucking or cutting any part of it. Ibn Hazm reported that there was scholarly consensus that it is an obligation (fard) to trim the moustache and let the beard grow. He quoted a number of ahaadeeth as evidence, including the hadeeth of Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) quoted above, and the hadeeth of Zayd ibn Arqam in which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever does not remove any of his moustache is not one of us.” (Classed as saheeh by al-Tirmidhi). Ibn Hazm said in al-Furoo’: “This is the way of our colleagues [i.e., the Hanbalis].”
Is it haraam (to shave it)? Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “The Qur’aan, Sunnah and ijmaa’ (scholarly consensus) all indicate that we must differ from the kuffaar in all aspects and not imitate them, because imitating them on the outside will make us imitate them in their bad deeds and habits, and even in beliefs, which will result in befriending them in our hearts, just as loving them in our hearts will lead to imitating them on the outside. Al-Tirmidhi reported that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “He is not one of us who imitates people other than us. Do not imitate the Jews and Christians.” According to another version: “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” (Reported by Imaam Ahmad) ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab rejected the testimony of the person who plucked his beard. Imaam Ibn ‘Abd al-Barr said in al-Tamheed: “It is forbidden to shave the beard, and no one does this except men who are effeminate” i.e., those who imitate women. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had a thick beard (reported by Muslim from Jaabir). It is not permitted to remove any part of the beard because of the general meaning of the texts which forbid doing so.
    islamqa.info/amp/en/answers/1189
It is forbidden to throat The beardAnd it is the gilded of the mass: the Hanafi, And the ownership, And the HanablaAnd some Shafi’iAnd the consensus was narrated on that.

5:17 My brother just take a deep breath for a second and hear me out ♥
Allah said in the quraan :
    "وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانتَهُوا"
    " وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ (3) إِنْ هُوَ إِلا وَحْيٌ يُوحَى (4)"
From those verses we understand that we have to follow the prophet to the best of our ability, and how do we know what the prophet said? and how do we study his lifestyle? we know what he said from the Hadith and we study his lifestyle through the well-documented and well-verified Sunnah.
that being said, I don't think any Muslim has the authority to dismiss you from being a Muslim just for the fact that you have a short beard or even if you shave your beard completely.
But, wouldn't you like to follow the prophet and his message fully, especially in such an easy thing as growing your beard? wouldn't you love for your large platform to be the means for others to find guidance and encouragement to do more and be better?
May Allah guide all of us my brother and we'll continue supporting you, I know it's one of the toughest times for the Muslim Ummah but we must stay strong.
Trust Allah's plan and soon InshaAllah there will be light at the end of the tunnel, I'm certain of it.

that's how people take the matter of their religion lightly and end up so disconnected from their belief that they go astray, reducing Islam to just the Quraan is a straight path to disaster, look at what's happening in most Muslim countries right now, it's because people reduced their religion to the bare minimum and ended up reducing the bare minimum more and more until we reached a point when even the most educated of them went astray.
if you don't know how important sunnah is, lemme give you a heads up, most of the details on how to pray, how to clean yourself, and how to deal with the problems that we face on a daily basis come EXCLUSIVELY from the Hadith and the Sunnah, Sunnah is divided into categories, some of it is obligatory, some of it is preferred if you do it, some of it is optional.
Saying that all the Sunnah is optional is a massive oversight.

@Toothless when did I ever say not having a beard makes you a non-Muslim, don't put words in my mouth
      also "
If somebody got their skin burnt, cannot grow a beard cuz their hairs burn off " is an exception
if someone has their legs amputated they're not obligated to stand up in prayer
if someone is paralyzed they don't have to pray while sitting
if someone is brain dead they don't have to pray at all
those are exceptions, not rules, you can't use them as an argument for perfectly healthy people

I am upset because you think so little of others you don’t know. You don’t know the knowledge that I have and you assume I don’t know about the prophet’s sunnah, then you have the cheek to come and brag about what you do. A true muslim would never show off their amal. To me if it is clear to them that keeping the beard is wajib but they do not keep it coz they don’t feel like it, then it just proves that they do not love the prophet enough. Simple as that. No different to an ahlul bid’ah who claims to love the prophet but they do the opposite of his command. Prophet teaches them how to pray, they rather pray in a way they like. If you do one command but leave out another just because you don’t feel like it, then the onus is on them. You’re the one upset and emotional from the fact that I brought up the issue of the beard. What an idiot. There are times to emphasise on other sunnah and there is a time to emphasise on the beard. You want to be clean shaven and look like a woman that is between you and Allah.

If someone loves his wife and kids this will be seen in his behaviour. He will buy gifts for them hug them care for them etc.

It’s considered Makruh (disliked) in the Shafi’i school of Thought and not Haram according to them. Furthermore the scholars have also differed on what constitutes a beard and according to the Maliki School of thought it is considered what grows on the chin and the moustache (Goatee) so therefore you are still fulfilling the obligation of the Beard in the Maliki School.
