  • Blues Saraceno is an American rock guitarist, composer, and music producer who currently resides in Los Angeles California. Saraceno was discovered by Guitar for the Practicing Musician magazine, at the age of 16, which assisted him in releasing instrumental recordings on an independent basis (which sold well over 100,000 copies). Saraceno's high profile as a gifted guitar virtuoso and musician opened the doors to an early career as a first call guitar sideman and session musician. Saraceno is most often recognized from his time playing w/Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker (Cream) as well as his brief tenure with the band Poison. Saraceno's early success in the music industry would eventually blossom into a career in producing and composing for television and film.
In this video, Blues Saraceno demonstrates the versatility and reliability of the PowerStage™ 100 Stereo.
The PowerStage line of compact power amps provides high-headroom class-D amplification to guitarists looking to deliver the sound of their preamp, pedal chain, or amp modeler to the masses. The PowerStage 100 Stereo provides features demanded by the modern guitarist, including stereo inputs and outputs that each drive 100 watts of transparent sound to your cabinets. Perfect for amplifying the sound of modern modeling units to on-stage cabinets, the PS100 Stereo also offers an extended EQ section and balanced line outs with switchable analog cabinet simulation for more authentic projection through any sound system. The stereo sounds developed in your amp modeler, multi effects-unit, or preamp will be delivered with clarity through any pair of speakers, all in a package small enough to fit on your pedalboard.

His first album (Never Look Back) is such a masterpiece of everything 80s guitar. His other solo albums (Plaid and Hairpick) are really good, too, he has such a distinct tone and style. His plaid yamaha guitar is beautiful, too, shame they don't still make that or variations on that theme.

Possibly the best guitarist most people never even heard of. Blues kind of opted out of the rock spotlight for personal reasons .Which is completely understandable. But damn it wouldve been cool to have heard more from him over the years. He was still just a kid when he did shows with Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce for crying out loud. How many people WISH they had that honor?

Your sound is going to be consistent, if your sound was constant, it would never stop, lol just playin, hey Im fighting digital to this day although I have neural and axefx3
I’m a die hard, willing to go the extra distance, tube whore and I love Blues S. since the earliest of his work,
Back when dad was building his Dirty Boy amps
Respectfully, for the last 15+ years of his career he can play any old Chinese tele looking thing into a bunch of San Marzano tomato cans attached by kite string and make it sing
he has one of the best tones and execution of style from his original take on the instrument, amazing timing and cadence
That why he gets the cue gigs, just great stuff
So nice to see yet another digibox replica on the market where plug-ins are quickly taking over and rendering my outboard studio gear almost useless
UAD isn’t quite there so my neves and pultecs are safe and the la2a gets buried with me, but for geetar
at my age (senior to Blues) I’m sticking to my Marshalls, Mesas, Friedmans, Soldanos, Fenders, Orange, Vox, Matchless, Magnatone, Revvs and most recently acquired Bogner Ecstasy
Sure you can’t carry all that stuff but I’ve acquired a collection since the early ‘70s and close enough won’t cut it when you got the real deal
I mean kids argue with me online and swear their model of a jp2c sounds exactly like the real earth shaker but I can’t hear it live, not even close
Online, digitized, on my iPad speakers sure whatever but playing live there are no 0s and 1s coming out of my 4x12 just the catalyst tones that
started the whole tech revolution, if the real deal wasn’t as good as it is then why would they bother trying to reproduce it?
I’ll answer myself, because it’s better to have a lite weight, maintenance free disposable close enough box full of sharc and keystone dsp of many rigs than one great rig?
Here I wholeheartedly disagree most players use maybe 3 sounds all night anyway so who need 100s of so so?

I'll bring my Fender Deluxe Reverb, small pedalboard in my gig bag, done. For the typical live gig of the average musician this saves you nothing in terms of weight, trips to the car etc. I get it for recording or traveling to a gig where a cabinet is provided but I don't see any benefit for the local pub, club, bar gig.

Meanwhile, you see all these pro-level musicians embracing digital, because it's more easy to use and pretty much nobody can't tell a difference. I'm talking people like Steve Vai, Frank Gambale, the guys from Metallica, Wolf Hoffman from Accept etc. etc. , they all use some form of digital amp simulation ( Kemper, AXE FX, DV Mark etc.), when playing live.
