This is perhaps closer to diamond-looking than even a round brilliant moissy. Beautiful.
I have personal reasons for not wanting a diamond. And that’s OK. To each his own. That said, the first time I saw the cushion AVC, I knew I wanted one. A few years later, I still haven’t pulled the trigger, but now that I’m retired, I think I can save up to get one for the right hand ring I’m planning. Both gems are absolutely gorgeous, but at this time in life, the moissanite is more than ideal for me.
I would love to see comparisons of each type of cut/shape of moissanites and which cut looks the best in moissanite gem 💎
I honestly can't tell them apart. People always talk about the fire in moissanite and the diamond has a lot of fire. So people who are saying moissanite looks fake only says that because they know which one is moissanite because they both look the same.
Im in Eurpe and saw mny of your videos ..........I bought a moissanite the same size as the one you show here but not OEC Its set in a halo in yellow gold and is ne f the best looking rings i've ever had
I don't know why, but my personal impression is, that the diamond somehow is more vibrant or sparkling than the moissanite. The moissanite is very close, but the magical piece is clearly the right stone for me. I do remember, that you had an August Vintage cushion cut diamond for some time ago, which has been cut from a lab grown diamond rough. I would hope to see more of those ones as well.

@@FXNorm Any woman can afford a 1 ctw diamond. I have on a 10 ctw diamond bracelet right now, bought with my own money. Just study hard and work smart.
@@FXNorm it’s not a Diamond on the left, and not all women can afford a moissanite either. Personally I buy moissanite because it’s absolutely gorgeous and why would I pay SO much more for something that is so optically similar when well cut? It doesn’t matter what I can or cannot afford, it’s a matter of priority. Even women who make very good money buy moissanite.

The diamond is clear. Crystal clear. The moissanite has a haze you cant really see through). Moissanite is a beautiful gemstone but there is a huge visual difference between the clarity and brilliance of the two
There are moissanites with more or less clarity just like Diamonds
Huge difference? Lol. Come on....
It's that the Moissy is doubly refractive so the "edges" of the cuts (the planes of the stone that the light is reflecting off of) don't look as clear. The diamond is single refractive so the edges of the cuts look cleaner.
All these moissy videos remind me how astonishing diamonds are, not that I forgot, but it’s all I can think when looking at these comparisons. Diamonds 💎 are forever.
