I was very moved by the scissor installation you did. All the men in my family were tailors, both on the maternal and paternal sides. :) My maternal grandfather made terrific things!!! So beautiful! I have a metal lantern my hat had no glass to try this on, unfortunately it has no wood, all metal. But it is the “house” shape and it’s white, so that’s todays project! Thank you once again for being such a huge inspiration to all of us!!

I loved this episode so much, I have a húge stash of scissors, lace, bobbins etc... We share the sane passion for these. I also have 2 Singer sewing machines, one was manufactured in 1922, the other one has the 50th anniversary Edition. Both are perfect still and on display. Hugs from South Africa 🇿🇦
