    Early 83 Steelers weren't that bad. Just missing a good QB.

      Biggest regret the Steelers had taking him when Marino was available.

      Was common in the 80s and 90s, pro baseball and football teams would share the same stadium, and the seasons overlap, not sure but this is likely the astrodome, so these guys are stoked to not be outside, I'm figuring

    The next year, the oilers would get Warren moon and he became a star for them.

    At 1:36:08 Jack Lambert unloads on Archie Manning. Then he walks over to Archie to see if he's alright. Personification of class.

    Archie manning maybe wasn't as good as everyone says he was.

      The man was great. It's because he was the only player that was great on his team. His team were horrible. He didn't even have 1 good player on the saints.

    The greatest QB to never make it to the playoffs in his career. He's still proud that his son's won the superbowl.

    Do you have the opening 1983 game against the Packers?

  • @bc6352
    @bc6352 Před rokem

    Casper is my favorite player of all-time but he had awful game. I read back then that the coaching staff almost voted to cut him. But a couple days later a trade was orchestrated that sent Manning and Casper to the Minnesota Vikings. Manning and especially Casper despised Biles. Casper was more of a Bum Phillips or Bud Grant guy. Biles was a terrible head coach. Basically a dictator with a Napoleonic complex.

    Poor Archie Manning, he really never had a great offensive lineman.
