Maybe both teaching are right. Maybe nirguna and saguna are both right. Different people are born w different inclinations and different samskaras. Some are naturally attracted to God in form. Some are attracted to God w out form. Both schools try to convince their followers they are higher and faster. Or like iskcon that the impersonal is just a some aura of the person which is higher ,the Advaita will say the opposite.
That the personal is maya with in the purusha source .
Silly argument . Both maybe equal as God the divine cosmic intelligence is both equally verything. Personal and impersonal and both paths take the devotees to. Full final liberation. Whether that is living in an eternal heaven worshipping Krishna ,or shiva or Christ or whether the non dual Bhakta merges in the divine Brahman to lose their individuality and dissolves in that which is beyond any understanding..
