hii Lucy !! i love your channel sm
Aww tysm! I wrote about specific classes I wanted to take, professors I wanted to do research in, clubs I wanted to participate in and backed it with things I did in high school that relate to what I want to do in college!
I submitted a 1440 but I do think my SAT was the weakest part of my application. Iâm not sure what the HumEc average is but I probably wouldnât have submitted mine if I was applying during a test optional year. Sorry thatâs not too informative but I hope it helps!
@@lucywbeck waaaa that's what everyone is saying, I'm kinda stalking their insta page rn for recent details I can add, hopefully that helps. What professors and clubs did you mention if you don't mind me asking and where did you get the info? (cuz there's so littleeeee for HumEc)
@@lucywbeck ok thank you so much!! Yes that definitely helps thank you muah ! Have a nice day and thank you for replying ! Have a happpyy new year!
@@rockinggirl0610 hope you have a happy new year too!!đ
What do you mean by board member of HOSA? How did you get that position?
I was a member of HOSA my freshman and sophomore years of high school. I ran for the board member position at the end of my sophomore year. I had to submit my resume, give a speech to all HOSA members on why they should vote for me, and be interviewed by current board members. After that process, I was selected and served as a board member during my junior and senior years of high school.
@@lucywbeck wow thatâs amazing!
hey lucy, first of all congrats on your amazing high school achievements it is truly inspiring to see. I do have a quick question though if you are still active. My dream school is Cornell and I want to apply to the Dyson school of Applied Economics and Management. I understand this is extremely competitive, but I will be applying with an UW GPA of 3.9/4.0 and a W GPA of 4.62/5. In high school I have taken a total of 21 AP Classes and I have strong extracurriculars in art and finance. Do you think applying for ED is a good decision? Once again, congrats on the achievements and thank you for the help!
Hi! Thank you! I think with your stats, you would definitely be a good candidate for Cornell Dyson. There are a lot of factors that go into the admission process, so please keep that in mind. I think you should apply to Cornell if youâre interested. Regarding ED, that is a personal decision and something you should take time to weigh out the pros and cons. I hope that helps!
@@lucywbeck Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it! Btw LOVE ur videos and gained a subscriber!
21 AP Classes? GIRL YOU'RE OVERQUALIFIED
can i ask why you decided to transfer to northwestern after a year in cornell?
Thatâs a totally valid question. There were a lot of factors that went into my decision to transfer and at the end of the day, I just didnât have a strong attachment to Cornell. If more people are interested, Iâll post a video that goes more in depth about my decision!
@@lucywbeck yeah, if you can, please do make it.. it'd be really helpful

@@lucywbeck HOW TO CALCULATE GPA IN PRECENTAGE?
9TH GRADE=90%
10TH GRADE=70%
11TH GRADE=94%
12TH GRADE=91%
HOW MUCH GPA ?????
@@gaming_217 You add them all up and divide by how many there are. In your case, your gpa would be a 86.25 if we calculate from the 100 point scale.
