Why “C” Students Are More Successful Than “A” Students

- How to be More Successful. We all try to get good grades to later get a well-paid job and succeed in life. Most people including our parents believe it is a direct toad to success. However, according to Robert Kiyosaki, author of Why ‘A’ Students Work for ‘C’ Students and ‘B’ Students Work for the Government, it’s actually the other way around. It’s “A” students that end up being employed by “C” students. We found 8 reasons why “C” students are often more successful in life. Now that’s some food for thought if you want to transform your own life or give good advice to your kids.
TIMESTAMPS
“C” students question the significance of the academic system. 1:30
They’re not afraid to fail or get bad grades. 2:37
“C” students are risk takers. 3:39
They’re not submissive followers. 4:45
“C” students have people skills. 5:34
They find simpler ways to get things done. 6:30
“C” students are dreamers. 7:16
They have their own definition of success. 7:53

SUMMARY
-“C” students are more interested in a straightforward approach and unfortunately for them, academia doesn’t offer that. They hack their way into the system by taking on odd jobs or learning outside of school.
-While “A” students aim for perfection on their first try, “C” students aren’t afraid to fail, even several times! They embrace their shortcomings and learn from them.
-“C” students, who received their fair share of “Fs” in their academic life, aren’t afraid to leap into the unknown. They take calculated risks to figure out what they really want in life.
-“C” students tend to question everything. They’re not the “Yes” group; they’re more like the “Yes, but…” team.
-Besides experimenting in the work force, “C” students also devote themselves to building networks that can benefit them in the long run when they enter the real world.
-“C” students don’t wanna put much energy into accomplishing a task, they’d rather be investing their time and effort in pursuing their dream.
-“C” students are more interested in thinking about what they wanna do in life rather than being stuck in the four walls of a classroom.
-“C” students decide what they want done, and “A” students are good at taking and follow these instructions.

In my region Asia, Marks/grades are considered more important than Concept understanding
As someone who gets A's a lot, this just makes me feel discouraged
Don’t worry. The reason behind this is not because of the student’s grade, it’s because of what they do. You could be very successful as an A student aswell. Getting A’s proves that you can pay attention, understand things easily, and probably solve problems faster than average. It’s not about the grade, it’s about how you treat life.
Remember, the phrase grades don’t matter still applies here. It’s more about how hard you want to work and your general mindset. Do everything the video says and talk to me in 20 years or sumthin.
thers a 2 types of C student,
1. lazy to study and causes C
2. focus on doing something and causes C.
im an ungraduate C student, because im bussy on doing my fun investment stuff.
It's nice to bring this up. Brightside's saying that if you're a C student, you will automatically be an A student's boss. That is a lie. C students can be focusing on other things outside of school, like you, which benefit them; others just bs their way from term/semester to term/semester. Some A students realise the flaws in school and exploit them, others invest a great deal of time and effort into subjects they love which happen to be covered by the curriculum. The video is either one designed to make kids feel good, which I can appreciate but is still a big step in the wrong direction given the chance they could just go to the lazy, coasting side, or its an attempt to boost the ego of a Brightside team member.
@Lolo 500 😂😂😂😂😂
i'm the numbe one= lazy to study and causes C

Honestly speaking most are the first type lol. Getting A in school really isn’t hard especially if you have CP, I mean all you need to do is focus on class, sure you may have other things you want to pursue but school doesn’t really use your outside time(unless homeworks, which depends on where you live).
Personally speaking, Elementry school (1-6) should start with introducing all these new topics and stuff instead of read a book, and take a nap xD.
Then when they go to junior high (7-8) they learn some more things.
First 2years or so of HS, they learn even more. And then in the 2 other years, they should be free to choose their own topic by that point unless they still wanna study general things, so they get more ideas and whatnot. Or if someone find what they wanna do earlier, school let’s them pursue that subject and other subjects as well, but not as much as you would need to in general.
But meh, it’ll never happen xD, they make profit off grades so...
everybody's probably no. 1 c student
As a teacher, I always tell my students, "Grades only matter in the short-term. They do not matter in the long run."
Since you're a teacher, I have a question if you don't mind me asking. So, I just got like a mark back for smthn and in the rubric, there is a part that said not more than 2 punctuation mistakes and not more than 2 grammar mistakes and I got a d on both of those in the rubric because I had more than 2 mistakes. My teacher said the project was for my media literacy mark. Will those 2 d's affect my report card mark by a lot? I usually get a's in stuff like this. I've just been stressed about it recently.
@@hmmnotsure I cannot tell you the extent to which those 2 d's will affect your report card mark. I am not your teacher.
Perhaps you are getting a grade which is unusual for you because you have a new teacher and you are not used to his grading style.
I will tell you that 5 years from now, you are not going to care about that grade. When you have finished your first real job and are looking for your next job after that, employers will not care about what grades you got in school.
At best, grades are simply feedback on what areas you need to improve. They should not be held in any higher regard than that.

This is quite inspirational. Thank you for this great video. I listen to it every time I feel down when I get my new grades in University, as they’re not always the best and sometimes I would fail certain courses for ridiculous reasons. Thank you once again for this motivation
What kind of chips do you guys like the most? I like regular
Ikr
I agree with you. The US treats their schools like a business or factory
Yeah, I got a B in Biology but I remember literally nothing
*than*
It’s to true. I’m only doing what they are telling me for the grade. It’s the grades that get in the way.
A students watching this be like:
Time to get bad at school!
Good one
ikr
Ok thx lol
Lol you said useless word.
Should I?
I am reallly thankfull to my dad. Who never say me education is everything ❣️.
Also usually when I get a C I get really hyped because I’m proud of myself
THERE IS NO CONNECTION BETWEEN GRADES AND PROFESSION!YOU MIGHT HAVE A GRADE AND BE SUCCESSFUL AND YOU MIGHT HAVE C GRADE AND EVEN BE SUCCESSFUL!
Master Solanki there is acctually a positive correlation. So if I get a F I can walk in all jolly into medical school.
YES! YES! THANK YOU!
Tell them !!!!!!!!!
I’m an A students, but I act like a C student. I have the same mindsets as them.
But I don’t like bad grades, I want things straight forward. I mean like
why even bother to find X when they left us broken-hearted
Exactly bro... I also have that kind of a mindset.
... An 'A' student with an entrepreneual and rebellious mindset.
Nah,good mindset 💪
Same...'B' student here...
I am 'A' student
I'm an A (with some Bs too) student too but I can be like the "C" students too but I always get into some sort of trouble from my parents if I act like a "C" student.
In my case i don't think it's C students.. its just students who are brave and think out of the box (even A students could be successful)
Btw mark zuckerberg and bill gates both went to Harvard and had amazing grades all throughout high school. Mark zuckberg had 1600 on SAT and bill gates 1590, they are not C students and cannot be compared to C students. Also, they didn’t drop out of college they took a leave of absence which allows you to go back to college if you’re business fails.
It's not the amount of knowledge you have that's important, it's what you can do with it that'll lead you to success. ❤
HumansAreDumb applied knowledge is extremely powerful
Alpha Coo yes, but it'll go to waste if you dont have the practical experience to back up the theoretical knowledge
Clint-Excalibur71 that's exactly what applied knowledge is...
Alpha Coo never heard the term before, sorry
Clint-Excalibur71 Nah it's cool. We all learn something new everyday
Dont go saying A students aren't also very successful. Just because ur not an eantrepenuer doesn't mean u can't be more successful than someone. Like doctors
Kade Lishbrook there is no fault in being an A student if you are one but realize this; you have a statistically higher probability of being brainwashed by the entire school system (US primarily, others places around the world like Finland have far superior education models where there are no standardized tests or quizzes, or homework of any sort. This is why Finland has the best and brightest students. They utilize their imaginations), but if you realize what that system is doing to to you then you are far better off. Now if you did not realize that the US education system is just a way for companies to profit and to provide meager education to kids while stifling creativity, then it is to no fault of your own. There is one rule among all others; do what you love. If you love your profession stick with it. You can also work on projects and companies on the side, no one sets that limit for you
That depends on your definition of success
@@nighthawk8046 yeah I heard that when I was younger so I'm trying to be aware of that, but I'm also looking at my options for the future like C students so it's the ethics that count
Yeah
If your salary increases or you get promoted it is not success, it is development from one stage of life to another.
Ask yourself the meaning of success, fulfillment and happiness?
Very interesting and useful to me because I am one of those C students in my college class.
okay! thank you so much for telling me, and i totally understand now!
Meanwhile D student seem will rule the world
F student: am I a joke to you?
OMG lol 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha!!
True....😂😂
its funny i am also d student in highschool😂😂😂
No it’s A students worst life B student decent C student good life D student rules world F student complete gods walking the earth
If that’s true then
D students: I OWN the Government
F student: I used to rule the world
F- students: I Rule the universe
Till now all those millionaires had bad grades
Good one
@Fresh ! beggars were born homeless lol and there are people with good grades who are beggars lol what is the difference
lower than Z- students: I Rule everything, even the coronavirus
._.
F students: well why am I not rich
Probably because this video is lying
@@ninjapirate123 nope it’s not
So what if I have all the skills of an entrepreneur and still I feel I’m capable of earning A’s in college, even though I’m struggling to get them. What should I do then? 🤷🏻
But my dad always say,"YOU NEED TO FOCUS ON SCHOOL WORK !!!!"
Oh..Same i think?
That’s my mom
Bruh just cheat
Same
Um maybe because your dad paid for your school
Before the British came to India we had a different kind of education system (no grades, no ranks) called Gurukul. People would just learn new skills and apply them in life.
After the British introduced schools these grades came to existence. Comparison started. I always feel bad for this.
Yeah 😭😭 Gurukuls are always best
They learnt the British skills and applied to Indian education system.
Yea, because all you had to do is work at farm.
@@ekon777 Bro even before Einstein proved time travel, there were mention of time travel of Brahma in the Hindu books. Don't underestimate Indians of the 80s and 70s.
@Gren ASR I'm not blaming the past. I'm just telling about our Indian education system in the past
My grades are always c but im a game developer and im also a risk taker and i learn more from the internet and i focus more in my dreams and i can see my success is growing
