Why “C” Students Are More Successful Than “A” Students

  • How to be More Successful. We all try to get good grades to later get a well-paid job and succeed in life. Most people including our parents believe it is a direct toad to success. However, according to Robert Kiyosaki, author of Why ‘A’ Students Work for ‘C’ Students and ‘B’ Students Work for the Government, it’s actually the other way around. It’s “A” students that end up being employed by “C” students. We found 8 reasons why “C” students are often more successful in life. Now that’s some food for thought if you want to transform your own life or give good advice to your kids.
    TIMESTAMPS
“C” students question the significance of the academic system. 1:30
They’re not afraid to fail or get bad grades. 2:37
“C” students are risk takers. 3:39
    They’re not submissive followers. 4:45
“C” students have people skills. 5:34
They find simpler ways to get things done. 6:30
    “C” students are dreamers. 7:16
They have their own definition of success. 7:53

    SUMMARY
-“C” students are more interested in a straightforward approach and unfortunately for them, academia doesn’t offer that. They hack their way into the system by taking on odd jobs or learning outside of school.
-While “A” students aim for perfection on their first try, “C” students aren’t afraid to fail, even several times! They embrace their shortcomings and learn from them.
-“C” students, who received their fair share of “Fs” in their academic life, aren’t afraid to leap into the unknown. They take calculated risks to figure out what they really want in life.
-“C” students tend to question everything. They’re not the “Yes” group; they’re more like the “Yes, but…” team.
-Besides experimenting in the work force, “C” students also devote themselves to building networks that can benefit them in the long run when they enter the real world.
-“C” students don’t wanna put much energy into accomplishing a task, they’d rather be investing their time and effort in pursuing their dream.
-“C” students are more interested in thinking about what they wanna do in life rather than being stuck in the four walls of a classroom.
-“C” students decide what they want done, and “A” students are good at taking and follow these instructions.

It's nice to bring this up. Brightside's saying that if you're a C student, you will automatically be an A student's boss. That is a lie. C students can be focusing on other things outside of school, like you, which benefit them; others just bs their way from term/semester to term/semester. Some A students realise the flaws in school and exploit them, others invest a great deal of time and effort into subjects they love which happen to be covered by the curriculum. The video is either one designed to make kids feel good, which I can appreciate but is still a big step in the wrong direction given the chance they could just go to the lazy, coasting side, or its an attempt to boost the ego of a Brightside team member.

Honestly speaking most are the first type lol. Getting A in school really isn’t hard especially if you have CP, I mean all you need to do is focus on class, sure you may have other things you want to pursue but school doesn’t really use your outside time(unless homeworks, which depends on where you live).
Personally speaking, Elementry school (1-6) should start with introducing all these new topics and stuff instead of read a book, and take a nap xD.
Then when they go to junior high (7-8) they learn some more things.
First 2years or so of HS, they learn even more. And then in the 2 other years, they should be free to choose their own topic by that point unless they still wanna study general things, so they get more ideas and whatnot. Or if someone find what they wanna do earlier, school let’s them pursue that subject and other subjects as well, but not as much as you would need to in general.
But meh, it’ll never happen xD, they make profit off grades so...

I will tell you that 5 years from now, you are not going to care about that grade. When you have finished your first real job and are looking for your next job after that, employers will not care about what grades you got in school.

Btw mark zuckerberg and bill gates both went to Harvard and had amazing grades all throughout high school. Mark zuckberg had 1600 on SAT and bill gates 1590, they are not C students and cannot be compared to C students. Also, they didn’t drop out of college they took a leave of absence which allows you to go back to college if you’re business fails.

    • @nighthawk8046
      @nighthawk8046 Před 5 lety +6

Kade Lishbrook there is no fault in being an A student if you are one but realize this; you have a statistically higher probability of being brainwashed by the entire school system (US primarily, others places around the world like Finland have far superior education models where there are no standardized tests or quizzes, or homework of any sort. This is why Finland has the best and brightest students. They utilize their imaginations), but if you realize what that system is doing to to you then you are far better off. Now if you did not realize that the US education system is just a way for companies to profit and to provide meager education to kids while stifling creativity, then it is to no fault of your own. There is one rule among all others; do what you love. If you love your profession stick with it. You can also work on projects and companies on the side, no one sets that limit for you
