Loved to hear a CC video. But disappointed that the video was exclusively Durham. I was hoping it was thorough analysis of all the counties and players to watch out for; like Wisden's article.

Most, if not all of the games are streamed on You Tube.
Need more of this please focus on the county game it needs exposure and most cricket fans in the uk are interested in this than made up franchise teams that nobody has a allegiance too 👍

Well that was a clear case of click bait ... should be entitled Durham season preview ... but wouldn't expect anything other than sub standard cricket content when it comes to Sky

Video Title Correction: The ultimate DURHAM Cricket season PREVIEW!
Would like to see Matt Potts get more chances for England. He should have played against India as he had a great series for the Lions out there in Jan/Feb. The wicketkeeper Ollie Robinson (not to be confused with bowler Ollie Robinson) is another class player who made a big impact at Durham last season and I still can't believe Kent let him leave as he could well be playing for England within the next few years.
If England want to move on their ageing seamers / quicks like Anderson, Wood, Woakes and Robinson, they will need to start giving more opportunities to younger seamers like Potts, Tongue and one or two others. Not sure why Potts fell out of favour all of a sudden. There’s always one eye on the next Ashes tour even though it’s 19 months away but if the older quicks are gone by the winter of 2025, they need to give the younger guys experience in the next year ahead of that tour. Archer doesn’t ever look likely to be fit for a sustained period either. Robinson is a decent gloveman. The selectors may now want to move on from Bairstow and Foakes at test level. James Rew at Somerset looks a good young prospect with the gloves too.
Good chat and a wide view of the current situation both from a playing and administrative perspective. One tends to ignore all the "back room" work that goes into making cricket what it is !!! Well done lads
Really appreciate and love the County Season Preview. I would love if former Indian captains did a Ranji trophy preview and continued these through the Ranji season and ended with an analysis of the seasons. I have seen a current cricketer do it Ravi Ashwin, but he does it in Tamil which I do not understand

36:28 Absolutely correct from Tim. England is the last place where "Test Cricket" is watched passionately (Australia might be next in Line), and the only place in the world that could have a Test Match tournament.

i think while its good having a team like durham and surrey who host internationals, hundred etc. but what about teams like sussex who dont get any of it, of coourse these teams are happy with most of it

Interesting, worth listening too but have been fooled, 17 counties ignored completely.
Reckon if Durham keep everyone fit and dont get too many called up by England, they could win the title.
I like my cricket, including the County game BUT one has to be realistic. The players earn far more now and quite rightly so but Counties cannot survive on the income from County cricket. The average gate being a few hundred members and a dog. Therefore like it or not, one day cricket in its various forms is necessary to subsidize County cricket.
Athers and Nassar don’t know enough about the county game to do a wide ranging preview. Test match ponies
