The final product walk around was not enough!!! 20+ min of literally improving everything on the van and we only got like a 1 min victory lap. Want to see more!!

Bottomline, u r literally a mechanic, electrician, welder, plumber, tailor and an ARTIST. A family man as well, I liked the way u spend time with ur kids and make them help u a bit. ❤❤👌💪

So in order for you to do a proper vw conversion you need to be a jack of all trades!!!😂😂😂😂..Fabricator,designer,mechanic,brake specialist,sprayer,window fitter,upholsterer,carpenter,body repair specialist,plumber,kitchen fitter....The list goes on..The end product was amazing..Watched from start to finish,really enjoyed your upload....True professional in your work..👏👏👏

I built my own Toyota LightAce camper, a former delivery van, with the generous help of two activists at the Pensioners' Workshop in Darwin AUS. The work took about 6 hours and served me extremely well for my trip of 5.5 months. The curtains were sown by a local lady. There was sleeping space for 2 inside the van, on top of storage space. Cooking was outside; the camping equipment took 2 minutes to set up. Timing and route mostly avoided rain.

I had lots of conflicting thoughts watching this, mostly me arguing with myself about how great it would be to do a project like this, and also me telling myself that I'd never have the patience to do it. Definitely a lot of skills needed, or to be learned.
Just out right amazing to watch the transformation and you did all on your own which is more amazing. I wish I had 1/4 of your skills. I am so impressed.

Brilliant Transformation , just in the process of restyling my t5.1 , already has all the sportline kit , just doing fogs // lights to v3 leds , rear leds , 20" wheels & tyres , and a bit of tidying up .
Bottom half in black , top half in silver .
£3000 mainly lights & wheels, spray job £1200 .

People think a camper is just a van with a bed thrown in it. I think this shows the true amount of work involved in doing it properly. Great job!

Anybody can do this job, alongside automotive wiring where you can wiki it, lifting old carpet or floor up and cleaning it without wiki, also measurements of wood matching with tape wiki it, most of current today generations are afraid or terrible non motivated to give it a try and you don't need qualifications, skills or be a professional workmanship expert but just common sense and having a first commited passion in creation, with small sense of art. Soon you start making you own shelves out of wood, changing car tyres regularly or installing car mods, servicing you car through wiki if you unsure, instead of throwing or selling you car and shelves away to scrap parts trading, or tip with you creative ideas then you will find a new also improved better lifestyle than one you are in now like l did and the uploader here. Like old saying goes, one man waste become another man fortune! Go on, and have a try even if you not good at it then give it time and follow wiki then you get use to it, and feel lot better after experience of first time without wiki. 👍🏻

amazing 23minutes. if only it could be done in that time hopefully choosing a vw in the next month then i can start my build over the summer . this is the inspiration i needed.
Consider a full sized van. These things are cramped beyond belief.
This size van allows you to pull up n camp anywhere without drawing attention or fees so pro's n cons 👍
