You deserve it, you give us important information in a way to compare one city and one sector of the economic community. Everything is a trade off. You may not be making the most money, but you have a lot as far as peace of mind are concerned. Think about using your experience and acquired knowledge to create a consulting group to assist in doing business with American companies. Some news reports are speculating $7.00 @ gallon for gas in the US may not be far away, especially around major cities. If it were not for state and federal taxes, gas would be even cheaper. The US used to be a net-exporter of energy. Sadly, that is no longer true. The Keystone Pipeline with Canada was shut-down. Fracking permits were severely cut-back. More areas off-shore were designated as federal property, and the cost of drilling licenses has risen sharply, as have the taxes on production from these licenses.

I am a Filipino and very pleased with this video. I was amazed that such opportunities exist in Russia. Almost all of 30 years of my job stints as an accountant were in the Philippines and abroad, a big part of which was in the Middle East and Africa. None of these job opportunities were advertised in our country. Then and even now, a high percentage of the Filipino workforce prefer overseas jobs. Russia fascinates me and, no doubt, I could have the chance to work there had these opportunities been made known earlier in my life. I am now retired enjoying my senior years here in my beautiful country.

My wife is an administrator for a large company and earns $2,700 after tax. Unlike the Yanks we do get healthcare that is free at the point of delivery and groceries are quite a bit cheaper than in the US, though petrol (gasoline) is a LOT more expensive.

So i have much more lefts rather european people who have similar salary. I think my $8000 is equivalent to $12000-$14000 in europe. But previous few years (2017-2021) i had smaller salary $3000-$5000/m. I still grow as engineer.

$73k is what a fairly experienced guy earns in the UK doing your job, not a new graduate, so consider yourself lucky. Compared to south-east England California is as cheap as anywhere.

As always, important video. Yes Russian salaries are low because the local product prices are also low. But in the last year and this one, Lebanon salaries are divided by 10 to 15 times (USD equivalent), where the product prices some following the $ and others one half of local food become cheaper than Rus. An idea the salaries for normal professions is between 55$ to 100$ per month. where on 2019 and before it was 800 to 1600$. Sure we have some companies pay in $ for engineers and salary become between 3000 and 6000$ per month

R&D, SD and Consulting are not easy to tell apart so there might be mingled salaries in the report. For example I own a consulting company and we consult customers on how to do software development. Because SW is an integral part for R&D (planes don’t fly w/o the SW) now what salaries should I state? Guess I can choose then :D I can only say that in Germany consultants usually earn more than a normal developer but I wouldn’t say that is too hard. German developers are way underpaid compared to the USA. We btw also have an extreme shortage of IT guys and gals. Guess the whole world is missing them. Time to learn software engineering instead of marketing ;)

Very intresting. I knew what some of the rough salaries were in Russia but not that detailed. In the US particularly the Midwest where I'm from in Michigan specifically Metropolitan Detroit the suburbs in a predominantly what they would call high-end wealthy suburb Oakland County. As a small business owner in the home remodeling trade with only 2 other employees who are highly skilled professionals I make about 25 to 35 of my small companies gross income. Mind you this is doing mostly kitchen remodels, bathroom remodel larger Home Project's. So typically we make $350,000 to $400,000 per year and my business partner and I will make anywhere between $80,000 to $110,000 per person per year on average. So that's about $6,750 to $9,250 a month.. I would be curious to find out what a Tradesman in the residential / business remodeling who owns his own business makes in some of the larger Russian cities like Moscow, St Petersburg, Yekaterinburg as a comparison. If you know anyone who does that kind of work and you have some info let me know, very interesting short video.

hello, our family are engineers and we work part-time on the repair of apartments and houses, usually this is seasonal work, most of all we manage to earn in the summer when heating is installed in houses. We do not work part-time all the time because there is a main job for the summer months we manage to earn somewhere 8,000-9,000 dollars a month in the winter 2500-3000 per month, but we have a customer base and we do not pay workers wages since this is a family business (I apologize for my English, I hope you understand everything) We wish you all the best from Moscow

My experience is that there is an enormous difference in salaries and the cost of living between Moscow and provincial cities. There is also a large difference between basic staples like bread, cheese, and pelmeni and delicacies like some fruits. The high cost of housing (apartments) in Russia also surprised me.
