I wouldn’t say mentored 😂 they only dropped in a few times to watch their monthly evaluation and give a critique. The vocal, dance, and rap trainers at YG entertainment mentored them.

kpop took a lot of influence from western music from america but adapted and upgraded it. All 100% kpop groups can do hard choreography while singing and dancing. There is a reason why they could do it on the fly. They go through intensive training as a teenager and trains 3-5 year straight until they can debut as a singer. A lot of them also studied different languges to a more advantage in promoting so you see majority of idols speaks 2 languages minimum. Blackpink Lisa is specials cause she speaks 5 languages and 4 of them fluently. English is one of them

Baby monster - batter up. Same agency as black pink- world biggest girl group so basically they got no problem with resource since they are from one of the biggest agency out there.. Baby monster also broke records for a debut within 24 hrs. 22 million views within 24 hr mark. The previous record holder was at 21 million views at 24 hr. They will become the next biggest girl group very soon since they having these kinds of views within 24 hr . 7 member group but only 6 debuted due to the so call most popular one ahyeon is out due to person health reasons.

These are literally kids except one she’s 20 hhhhhh it’s the first rapper
they are from 14 - 20 years old. Only 1 is an adult. The first rapper in this mv is the adult. The ice princess in this MV is 14 years old. Came into YG when she was 12 years old and trained for 2 years until debut. Others trained 3-4 years until debut. Check out baby monster last evaluation ep 1- 8 eng sub on youtube. It show case a lot of performances and a more detailed introduction bout them. Thousands of teenagers auditioned and got booted 1 by by over the years and only 7 came out to be in baby monster. That is how hard it is to become in a kpop group epically in a giant agency like YG entertaiinment that produced blackpink

in south korea 18 is not an adult. legal age for south korea was 20 a few years ago , they changed to 19. They also change + 1 to their year so if they are 21 in america than they are 22 or 23 in south korea. The system recently changed it to international age system so whatever age in america is the same for south korea now but the legal age in south korea its still 19. 18 is legal adult in the USA@@Robalexe

I feel bad for Babymonster. One reason is having to debut in the company that produced the number 1 K-pop girl group of all time in BlackPink. Another is the fact that they are talented and are with the wrong company. You can tell these girls have some serious talent, but all I can hear throughout this video is YG trying to make them the new Blackpink. If they are allowed to make their own unique type of sound and songs, they will flourish. But if YG keeps trying to make them Blackpink 2.0, they will flop. I hope they get their own sound because they are for sure talented.
