That's my 1st Attempt ever at this song in any capacity. This one is a little slower than I normally like but it's a good song, just not my style. Do not get me wrong about this. Really, there are a couple of things this song makes worth saying I believe... I like a lot of different types of music. From Classic Rock to Old School Country, from 80's Pop to current Scandinavian Power Metal. My go to music is really the Metal but it's worth considering that one of my Heroes of all Guitar Legends happens to be Mark Knopfler.
With that having been said, there's some music that moves me much more while other music not at all. In the case of this song for example. Clearly it's a quite popular song and they've made a lot of money and fame doing this kind of music. I respect that whether I rock out to it or not. Just because it's not my style doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it. Clearly not, they're pretty f*****g famous. You get my point though... I'm not here to talk s**t about anybody. There's more than enough of that very s**t all over this world and that is why we're up to our necks in guess what? Yeah, you got it... S**t!
I would just rather not be that guy if I do not have to. I'm incredibly skilled at it if I'm forced to be an a**hole but I sincerely hate having to do that. I like to try to treat other people the way I want them to treat me. I miss when the majority of people did that and we should get back to it. Know what I mean Verne?
The point is that sometimes I'm quite verbose about songs and other times not so much. That's the result of many factors but one fact is that if I actually "hate" the song, which there are some, more musicians quite often though... I can separate the art from the artist... Not that I need to do that with this band... Not that I'm aware of at least. I was actually looking for another one of their songs but could not find that one when I found this one...
Anyhow, when it comes to music... What I like, you may not like. What you like, I may not like. Who cares? ... If it makes us happy individually and your taste in music isn't hurting me nor is mine hurting you, it's all good. I love the fact that we can still do our own s**t whatever it happens to be and just leave one another be... That's a cool thing we need to push more of in the current year... However, I'll likely never let you drive aka have control of the radio, that's all.
The songs, or artists that I really do "hate"... No, that's not too strong of a word, in fact, sometimes it's entirely insufficient. Some music, to me personally, is just absolute s**t and so are many humans. Again, I'm not talking about this band or anybody in it. I know nothing about the lads. It's unfortunate people are like that... I don't want to be like that so I won't deal with those people, keep them around me, nor will I perpetuate it myself. Sometimes you have to speak up, most often you do, but not when it's music. It's art, it's a hobby, it's therapy, it's many things but something to bash each other with IS NOT THAT THING...
