I love how when Mix was talking about how bad the final fight with LeChuck was, then got all excited with the new sword
Tbh I quite enjoyed the ending it was nice to see how the adapted the insults and retorts to be LeChuck you even get the burning blade cutless, the mighty pirate title and the monkey island shanty as the rewards which in my opinion are one of the best rewards from a tall tale
If rare added island like this, I would enjoy the game so much more

This tall tale was great, as you said aside from ending. Would have made more sense if that was against his goons, but an epic fight against LeChuck.

It's a bug for everyone. Most likely they'll put out a patch on Thursday like they usually do. If you're really impatient you can do the first two over again with all commendations. That'll fix it

I got all commendations for legend of monkey island but regardless it doesn’t even give me the commendation or the shanty 😐
Yes it’s currently bugged and they are trying to fix it, but you can fix it yourself if you go back and complete every other commendation for the other 2 tales, but it’d probably just worth it to wait

So with Season 10, after you do this, what do people who want to play normal mode (not the Easy SOT mode) of SOT get? Anything? Anything at all?
Unless I'm misunderstanding your question, you get the game. Normal mode isn't going anywhere

When i finally looked at the rewards for these, i was extremely disappointed, the sword is the only good thing… tall tale grinding is so fun guys!

I’m gonna hard disagree with all these comments. The tall tales were very fun and the puzzles were very interesting. Obviously the boss fights wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea but are you really gonna tell me that you’d rather fight gh over Lechuck?
I'm with you. Part 2 was awesome, pretty much just like the old game. I guess I can understand younger gamers not getting the clues and cryptic puzzles, but as an old school Lucasarts, Sierra enjoyer, they were pretty easy.
The tall tails are decent if the game would let me play them...
I just wander because they spent so mich dev time on them and they are just Not going to be as good for the playercount as the POTC ones were.
their just better be more to season 10 than switching of PvP, coppy and paisting an ashen winds skull and a new UI system that will be buggy, clutterd and boring.
considering it is a 'super season' and their 'biggest yet' I really dont trust the rare anymore
I tbh thought they were all very bad and a severe waste of effort, the 1st one and this one only having 1 decent part in each and the 2nd tale was just all around mediocre
Same I feel like considering the context of the games situation rn they shouldn’t of even made these and put more focus on the actual game that is currently dead instead they made maybe 6 hours of nonreplayable tall tales, I don’t think season 10 is a big enough update to warrant 7 month content drought and the game is going to suffer
I was hoping the new tall tales were about sea of thieves and not a different story line

I dunno about you, but I didn't see any places where it could've been tied in at all.
I was gonna say "it's legit the same as A Pirate's Life," but that introduced the Dark Brethren, which is still around today. Unless stuff in the future happens as a result of the Monkey Island tall tales, they were honestly kinda pointless story-wise.
