Just a thought, you could cut the long wing in the middle and spread the halves out to where you want. Then you'd only have to close/fix the gap in the middle. Might save a little effort.

That wax paper tip is golden. Man I stacked and glued popsicle sticks to close a hole in one time. I went over that with bondo and fiberglass afterwards. It turned out okay but was a process.

I ran into a situation installing a fiberglass body kit once where the side skirt was about 1” to short, kinda like that rear wing. What I did was cut the piece in half then fiberglass it back together the correct length to the panel. I used a piece of blue masking tape on the finished side as a form for the resin and glass if that makes sense, almost no body work after. That way you’ve got that factory edge still. Keep hustlin dude, I love the content!
