Her mindset at 20 is still inspirational, looking back on this in my mid-thirties now. She stayed humble, she stayed consistent, and kept God first...and that is very hard with today's pressures. Very motivational to see her here vs 20 years later!
She has always been so well grounded since she first started in destiny’s child. I love watching her old performances and interview because it shows her growth. Beyoncé is so inspirational.

What I truly LOVE about this, aside from the part about her music influences back in the day, is the footage from the Destiny's Child 2002 European tour. It's a different concert than the one on the dvd. God knows how much I love the 2001/2002 and Work It Out Beyoncé. I wish you had more footage to upload from that concert. She was on fire, so raw, soulful and fierce.

so good what she said about being a woman in a girl group doing individual projects is for some people strange when for men it´s normal that you do whatever you like and you come together when it fits. I always wondered that too when I do stuff. People are so limited in their minds when it comes to the freedom of choice with woman.

No she was seeing jay z here, this is may 2002 (20yrs old), that September she turned 21. She said multiple times in previous interviews that she been with jay z since she was 20. She stated in seventeen magazine they met when she was 18 and started dating at 19. At 20 they were actually together, this year 2002, august they made 03 Bonnie and Clyde. They also went on their first overseas trip July this year (2002). With that being said YES she was seeing jay z here , they made it steady the day of her 21st bday party according to jay. 😊

I noticed how Beyoncé seems to look all over the place when she speaks in interviews. She never looks ppl straight in their eyes, with confidence when she’s interviewed (over the years).
And I often wonder why Matthew and Tina didn’t assist with her level of speech-articulation as she was growing up.
Beyoncé had and still has such a limited vocabulary; as she uses the same words, verbs, nouns, etc.
It almost sounds like she wasn’t an avid reader growing up and even now, which increases and expands your vocabulary. I’ve never heard a person use “and” at the start of every sentence.
At times she sounds like she’s dealt with Dyslexia or something.
As a Beyonce Fan she definitely lived a Life you and I will never experience, let that sink in.
She’s careful with choosing her words that’s all. I’m the same way. You’re reading too deep into it
She has been trained. Her dad said that from the get go she has always hated interviews with the greatest passion passion lol. The minute she reached the level where she no longer needed to do interviews she just got rid of all those shenanigans. So she knows her weaknesses and strengths. I personally think she feel uncomfortable doing interview because she has to reveal herself and she seems to be an extremely private and reserved person. So you can tell she's uncomfortable.
She's probably just exhausted.
Very true Ebella her Oprah Chapter Interview is supposed to be one of her best and most high profile but was imo cringe and difficult to sit through. Even Oprah looked at her like "WTF is she getting at?" during that segment. It gets even worse when she actually tries to be articulate so it's best she keeps her vocabulary limited. Trumps vocabulary is just as bad imo and he was president.
She can sing, she can dance, at least she tries acting but one thing she definately cannot do is to speak eloquently and converse like an adult. Just give up. Acting is awful but interviews are worse.
